Today the flight activity of the Kamikazes Team took place in the North Park of Hatillo. Sunny weather and winds between 12-17 mph were the norm for the day. We had a large presence of Kamikaze pilots and respective families from all over the island. The perfect formula for us to have a great activity full of adventures and anecdotes.

First, we indicate the Kamikaze pilots present:

• Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
• Eduardo Pabon and his wife Esther
• Carlos Candido Rodríguez and his wife Wilma
• Chey Sánchez and his wife Arlene
• Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and son Noah Enrique
• Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
• Roberto Machado and his wife Drania
• Luis Cruz and his wife Carmen
• Omar Román
• Gregory Santiago
• Juan Carlos Correa
• Jorge Ríos
• Dimas Ruiz

From early in the morning we arrived at the Parque del Norte area. Everything in the Park are very nice and well care. The staff of the Park is doing a good job and in turn promoting tourism to this place. The winds went early in the SE direction and last until 10 AM. Then, as the day progressed, it became from NE, as expected by us.

Pablo was the first to fly. He made a couple of short flights around. He was followed by Luis, who had some outstanding paramotor Tandem flights to the passengers Aura Montes and his friend Jaime. Both had a great time in their experiences and promise to return. They even, are considering to take the training to do it alone, stay tuned… While this was happening, the other pilots in the Park gets ready to fly. Having with us the “Mr. Cross Man” Juan Carlos Correa, means long flight plans for all those who wish to accompany him.

So, for the second flight of Luis with his passenger Jaime, he saw as JC, Omar, Eduardo, Chey and Gregory flew by his side. They flew all the way to Isabela and Jobos beach. It was interesting how much they were going to take on their return trip, since at the moment the wind was higher than 15 mph. Finally, all came back without major inconveniences. Eduardo and Gregory were the first to return, using their acceleration speed bars already installed in their paramotors. Chey was the one who had less gas in his return, he had only about five minutes of flight when he landed. Dimas decided not to fly, partly to personal commitments that he had during the day.

A little later in the day, Ricardo began to practice kiting a paraglider, Pablo and Luis were helping him. Later came CC to the area, with Roberto Machado. He is the new member of Team Kamikazes, who was ready to resume his training. That included the delivery of his new paraglider Apco Lift EZ size L, which was tested by Pablo for first time in the air. Roberto was accompanied in practice by Jorge Rios, who came to the Park after make some early jumps in parachute at Arecibo Airport. He was practicing with the paraglider.

In the afternoon, Luis flew again with passenger named Melanie. She was in the Park seen the activities and wanted to try the experience. After the instructions and coordination, Luis took her to the air. After they landed, she was delighted by her experience. Next to them, the pilots Gregory, JC, Eduardo, Pablo and Chey were flying around. This time, their route of fly included Arecibo City and Plaza Atlántico Mall, back and forth.

CC, on other hand, decided not to fly. Instead, he stayed giving direct training to Roberto in the field and also taking videos and photos of the activity. Roberto, is showing great progress and we do not doubt that soon we will have him in the air. At late afternoon, The Park Officials reminded us that they closed at 6 PM, so it was time to leave, 🙂🙂. After that, some of the pilots stopped for dinner and others directly to rest after a full day of flights. See the photos and videos. Hope you like it….

Thank God for another great Day.💪💪
