Weekend, April 13 – 14, 2019

Great weekend of flights at Rancho Grande of Anasco. The weather conditions for all Puerto Rico were windy and with no possibility for flying. So, we returned to our beloved Anasco, both days and there we had excellent flight days.

Saturday, was the day that most doubts we had since the sky was covered with clouds and some rain is expected. But at 11:00 AM we already had the winds coming from the West and maintain that way until the end of the afternoon.

Presents were:

  • Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
  • Omar Román
  • Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and son Noah Enrique
  • Gregory Santiago
  • Eduardo Pabon and his wife Esther
  • Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
  • Roberto Rodríguez
  • Chey Sánchez and his wife Arlene.

It was very nice to see Ricardo take off with the group. He manage to launch and land with good control. Meanwhile, Luis, Chey, Eduardo, Gregory, Pablo and Omar flew around the place at will.

The most notable “Cross fly” of the day was made by Omar, Eduardo and Gregory. They were flying together all the way to Rincón. But not only that, they followed their flight past the Nuclear Plant and ended up arriving at the Pico de Piedra of Aguada Beach. In other hand, Luis Ruiz, spent time practicing on ground with Noah Enrique and later with Jessica. She looks ready to try her first “solo” fly.

On Sunday, we returned back to Rancho Grande. This time were presents, Luis Ruiz with his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique, Thaddeus Gala, Gregory Santiago, Chey Sánchez and his wife Arlene, Noel Vale and his wife Tata.

Luis Ruiz took advantage before noon to fly over “El Pulguero” of Mayaguez. It was full of stores and people. Subsequently, Thaddeus accompanied him in flight with Ian Darrell and Gregory. We stayed all afternoon. Gregory and Ian Darrell made notable good flights, also Thaddeus is showing great progress in his two flights of the day.
