Excellent weather although very hot for the Isabela area. The pilots Mario Muñiz, Sammy Badillo and students Micah and Leora Greenberg met in the afternoon to continue their training. Paul Whitmore was also arriving, but flying, leaving from another takeoff area.
We also had a surprise visit from Luis “Rafy” López from Sabana Grande. He, along with his family, had lived their flight experiences a few months ago. Now he arrived with some friends, Willy, James and Oliver from California, and stop by to say hello.
The winds were coming from the North, at a low intensity. This is challenging for Mario, who on past occasions has had difficulty getting off the ground in these conditions. This time, we had corrected the situation and Mario inflated and ran with more authority with his paraglider and not only flew once, but twice. We are happy to see the progress of Mario.
In the case of Micah and Leora, they were practicing hard the inflation control of a paraglider. At one point Leora went up to fly with Luis, taking the controls of the paraglider herself, as an instruction during part of the flight.

Luis Ruiz went in the afternoon with his son Noah Enrique to practice with the paragliders at the Pico de Piedra Beach in Aguada. The wind came straight from the North and it was used to practice all afternoon.
The Sargasso that came from the ocean and accumulated on the shore of the beach was impressive.

Taking advantage of the good weather conditions, Luis Ruiz brought in his car a complete setup of Paramotor and Paraglider with the idea of flying without much planning in the North Coast. His first stop in the afternoon was Posa del Obispo in Arecibo, but due to the solitary nature of the place at the moment, he decided to skip that place.
His second stop was in the Parque del Norte Hatillo. There he he prepared his equipment. This time a Fly Products Eclipse with a BGD Luna2 paraglider. He Take Off and traveled the entire coast, from the beaches of Camuy, through Hatillo all the way to Plaza Atlántico in Arecibo and then return. He shoot some good photos of this fly.
After this, he met with the pilot Sammy Badillo in Villa Pesquera Isabela. Being together and with excellent flying conditions, they allowed themselves to fly at very low altitudes in unfrequented parts of the beach.
With these adventures we close the flights of the week. And now it’s time to prepare for the weekend. With the Favor of God!
