And finally the day came for the school students to have the opportunity to fly “solo” for the first time. On this occasion we are referring to Wilkins “Chino” Morales, a native of Isabela, and José Pérez, who visited us from New Jersey, USA to take intensive training. They have both been working hard in recent weeks, and today we had the ideal weather to try their flights.

Luis Ruiz and Edgardo Rivera performed Rubén and Angie‘s Demo Flights, and after that, it was time to work with the school students.
The time has come to the first fly ever for the students…
The first to try to fly would be Chino Morales, in a few minutes and after the required instructions, Chino managed to correctly execute everything practiced in the week and Take Off “solo” for the first time!!! Everyone’s joy was contagious, surely for Chino, this will be the first of many more. Congratulations!!!
He was followed by José Pérez, who also, after the required instructions, managed to Take Off too. Congratulations!!! It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to put 2 students on the air in the same day!!!

Some Free Flight were made (without Paramotor)…
David Garber visited again Paul Whitmore’s house on the Cliff, and from there they went flying around. At one point, they were accompanied by the pilots Jomar Crespo and Edgardo Rivera. For Jomar, it was the first time he performed Free Flight, and for this reason, once he passed the Royal Isabela area, he lost altitude and landed in the Pastillo, Isabela. Edgardo Rivera and Chino Morales were in the rescue. In reality for the second time of the day, since the first time, he had stayed in the same area while flying in Paramotor and had some problems with it…
Finally, David Garber and Amara, said goodbye to the island today. We hope to have him back in 2025!!!
