Weekdays, sunny and with relatively good weather. Although the majority of Team Kamikazes pilots could not attend due to professional commitments. There were always some flights on both days.
Tuesday, May 7, 2024… (Rains for the entire island, except Isabela)
Luis Ruiz met with Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne in Villa Pesquera Isabela. The weather started off a bit strong with threatening clouds that warned that we wouldn’t have many flight opportunities. But, after a while, they dissipated for our region (although later it rained for the entire island).
Mario was making adjustments to his Paramotor SkyMax EOS100, testing power and making carburetor adjustments. Luis Ruiz was flying his sporty 22-meter Sky Zorro paraglider.
In the afternoon, the weather became active again with threatening clouds and we finished our flight activity.
Wednesday, May 8, 2024… Better conditions…
This time the weather conditions were better. Winds of 12 to 15 mph from the NE were the norm for the day. Furthermore, this time, in addition to Luis Ruiz, Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne, also joined the adventure, the pilots Jomar Crespo, Alberto Sabah, Fio Lopez and the student Miguel Orona. At some point when the pilots finished their flights, they want to put the Paraglider in the grass area, as a challenge of skills…
Luis Ruiz was in charge of carrying out some Demo flights of Introduction to the sport. That of Daisy _, a native of Colorado, who arrived with Nathanael Anglada and Abdiel from “Enjoy Isabela”.
Giancarlo Perloni and his friend Mónica also arrived, who was visiting the island from Florida. They both took the introductory flight and had a great experience.
We stayed until 2 PM in Isabela, when we ended the activity.
