Sunday arrives, and this time, with good weather for flying. As usual, Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico is once again present in Villa Pesquera Isabela. This time we had a mix of everything we do as a sports family, novice pilots improving their skills, veteran pilots planning “Cross” flights, and as always conducting Demo Flights for people interested in the sport. Let’s go part by part…

The morning hours and the plans…
We started the morning with light winds, which continued all day. The veteran pilots, Pablo, Mario, Chino and Sammy and perhaps Raul planned to fly in a “Cross” from Isabela to Arecibo and back. This is easily a fly of more than 40 miles…
For their part, novice pilots, José Rolón, Miguel Orona and Harry Dávila began training on ground in preparation for fly when the intensity of the winds improved later in the day.
Also, Luis Ruiz, had the task of carrying out some Demo flights of introduction to the sport, to new friends, Eddie Hernández and his family who arrived from Moca, and Mr. Paul Rogers, who arrived for a gift certificate, previously coordinated by his friend Inés Marie…
The Demo Flights of Introduction to the Sport…
Luis Ruiz managed to carry out the Introduction Flights to the sport that were pending. Eddie, his wife Maritza and daughter Andrea, enjoyed the experience of flying and here we include a short video of their experiences.
Then the turn was for Paul Rogers, and he not only lived his flight experience, but also made a beautiful video that we leave below. Spectacular, Thanks Paul!!!
The “Cross” Flight heading to Arecibo…
For their part, the pilots Sammy Badillo, Pablo Cruz and Mario Muñiz managed to leave on a “Cross” flight towards Arecibo. However, Chino Morales and Raúl Rivera Sr. had situations with their takeoffs and could not get out on this occasion. There were some technical errors, which were subsequently evaluated so that they do not occur again!
On Pablo, Mario and Sammy‘s flight route, they encountered some rain clouds halfway, passing the Guajataca area in Quebradillas. Both Mario and Pablo turned in their flight, while Sammy decided to pass the system, and continued his flight (alone) until he reached Plaza Atlántico in Arecibo, as planned, then he turn back to Isabela. Tremendous adventure Sammy, Congratulations!!!
The Rookie Pilots, polishing their skills…
Already in the afternoon and with constant winds of 5 to 8 mph, we decided to give the students green light to fly. Miguel Orona was in search of his 2nd “solo” flight, Harry Dávila, for his 4th flight, and for José Rolón in his 3rd “solo” flight.
Each and every one of them achieved their goal of going out to fly, and not only that, but this time, they flew and visited places on the coast of Isabela together. They were assisted on the field by Luis Ruiz and experienced pilots, Sammy, Pablo, Chino and Raúl. And see their happy faces when they achieve their goals. Priceless!!! Here we leave some videos of their stories…
