We began June 2026 with several stories worth remembering. We had three flying days, and each one brought its own adventures…
Starting at Isabela…
The weather in Isabela was excellent, with a light haze creating beautiful flying conditions. Arriving early were Luis Ruiz and his son Noah Enrique, Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne, Javier González, Nixon Porrata, Abel Bonilla, Shirley Hernández, Pedro Gregory, and Edwin Collazo.
One of the day’s highlights involved Javier González, who completed two flights. During his first flight, he sat down a little too early after takeoff and slightly damaged the propeller.
After making the necessary corrections, he went back up for a second flight and flew without any issues. Now it’s time to continue refining his skills on the path to becoming an even better pilot.
Young Noah Enrique spent the morning playing among the sand dunes while Abel, Edwin, and Pedro focused on their training exercises.
Meanwhile, Luis Ruiz had the opportunity to test a new Windtech Kinetic 3 paraglider that had recently arrived as part of a business transaction.
A visit to Aguada for an afternoon Fly…
Later in the afternoon, Luis Ruiz and Fio López met at Pico de Piedra Beach in Aguada. With steady onshore winds providing ideal conditions, they enjoyed a scenic coastal flight covering the shoreline from Aguadilla all the way to Rincón.
