The weekend of June 5–7, 2026 brought some of the best flying conditions we’ve seen in a long time, and the pilots and families of Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico took full advantage of every moment in the sky. It was a weekend filled with training, milestones, tandem experiences, and unforgettable memories.

With beautiful weather and ideal flying conditions, our students spent the day working hard on their wing-handling and ground inflation exercises. Young Noah was having a great time on the dunes, practicing with a 22-meter Windtech paraglider and continuing to build confidence around the wing.
Pedro Gregory’s Second Flight
The student, Pedro Gregory took another important step in his paramotor journey. Flying a vintage Top 80 paramotor and using a 22-meter Sky Zorro wing generously loaned by Luis Ruiz, Pedro successfully completed the second flight of his flying career. Every flight is a milestone, and seeing Pedro continue to progress was a highlight of the day.
Tandem Introduction Flight
Luis Ruiz also conducted an introductory tandem flight for Melanie, who traveled from Florida with her family to experience the magic of paramotoring. Sharing the joy of flight with first-time passengers is always special, and Melanie’s experience was no exception.

The flying marathon continued, and once again our field was packed with pilots, students, friends, and family members enjoying another fantastic day.
A major highlight was the arrival of the new Airnest 1.1 paramotor, sponsored by Liberty Paramotors, which is now being flown by young Noah Enrique as he develops his skills in the sport. Noah flew twice during the day and, despite having just turned 11 years old, looked remarkably comfortable in the air alongside much more experienced pilots.
With every flight, Noah continues to improve, refining his skills and growing in confidence. By the end of the day, he had already logged nine flights.
The skies were busy throughout the day. Javier completed his fourth flight, while Nixon, Edgardo, Darwin, Sammy, and Wilkins were all enjoying the excellent flying conditions.
Alexander Jiménez’s First Solo Flight
Saturday also marked a major milestone for Alexander Jiménez, who attempted his very first solo paramotor flight.
With direct assistance from Edgardo, Alexander launched successfully and got airborne without major issues. However, a combination of oscillation and limited altitude led him to land sooner than expected in an area that was difficult to access.
Even so, the most important goal was achieved: Alexander completed his first solo flight. Like every pilot, there will be lessons to learn and skills to refine, but this was a significant step forward and a strong foundation for future success.
A Busy Day of Tandem Flights
Luis Ruiz had a full schedule throughout the day, completing five tandem introductory flights. His passengers included April, Liva, Heather, and Kevin from Georgia, USA as well as Edwin from the Isabela area, who is considering becoming a future student.

The excellent weather continued, allowing us to make the most of another outstanding flying day.
Young Noah Enrique remained one of the stars of the weekend. Flying his Airnest 1.1 paramotor equipped with a Vittorazi Atom 80 engine, he looked completely at home in the sky. His growing confidence now includes smooth top landings, foot drags, and, most importantly, having an incredible time doing what he loves.
By the end of the weekend, Noah had accumulated twelve flights in his young flying career.
Meanwhile, students Mai, Pedro, Shirley, Abdiel and Abel continued working hard on their wing-inflation practice. Shirley and Pedro both attempted to fly, but sometimes conditions and timing simply do not align. Their opportunity will come, and training continues.
Abdiel 2 Hours Fly, Personal Record…
Abdiel Galarza broke his personal record, flying for 2 Hours in the Area. He was very happy with his new experience!!!
Darwin’s Unexpected Challenge
Darwin launched with a friend but experienced mechanical issues with his paramotor during the flight, forcing him to land in a different location. Afterward, he had to quickly make his way back, as he was scheduled to travel to the United States for work commitments. It was an unexpected challenge, but one handled with the adaptability that every pilot eventually learns.
Miguel Orona’s Emotional Test Flight
Miguel Orona spent part of the day testing Luis’s 22-meter Sky Zorro wing. The experience brought plenty of excitement, laughter, and maybe even a few emotional moments along the way. As we like to say—there were smiles, there were tears, and there were lots of laughs in between.
More Tandem Flights
Luis Ruiz continued introducing new people to the sport with tandem flights for Coralis Salomón and her nephew Julián.
Later in the day, he also flew with Delilah, who had previously shared the skies with us and returned for another unforgettable experience.
Another Incredible Weekend for Team Kamikazes
The June flying marathon showcased everything that makes our paramotor community special: dedication, learning, friendship, family support, personal achievements, and the shared passion for flight.
From first solo flights and student progress to tandem experiences and the continued development of our youngest pilots, every day brought new stories worth celebrating.
As always, the sky rewarded those who showed up ready to learn, fly, and enjoy the adventure together. We look forward to many more weekends like this with the Team Kamikazes family. God Bless !!!
