Saturday, September 19, 2026…
A tremendous number of flights took place throughout the day. The skies were busy from morning until late, with young Noah Enrique literally flying all day long, along with Abdiel, Paul, Pedro Gregory, Jesús Rivera — who arrived flying all the way from Hatillo — Montesino, and many more.
The conditions were simply too good to waste, and the pilots made the most of them.
Tandem Introductory Flights
Even while keeping a close eye on the pilots, students, and overall safety of the operation, Luis Ruiz managed to find time to complete two Tandem Introductory Flights.
One was with Wendy, and the other with Gregorio, who arrived accompanied by Paul.
Sunday, September 20, 2026…
Once again, it was a day filled with activity, and young Noah Enrique was literally in the air all day long.
Luis Ruiz spent much of the day assisting his students during their flights, including Canabal IV, Juan Flores, and Felipe — all three absolutely thrilled with their flying experiences.

A Long Cross-Country Adventure…
Today, experienced pilots Sammy Badillo, Scott Sansone, and Mario Muñiz came up with the idea of flying from Isabela, following the coastline all the way to the Arecibo Lighthouse.
Well… that was the original plan.
Once they reached the lighthouse, however, the adventure continued. The three pilots decided to keep flying north and make it all the way to the Christopher Columbus Statue.
That extra half hour of flying would eventually come back to haunt them.
By extending the flight beyond their original plan, all three pilots began running into fuel concerns for the return journey. Scott managed to work things out and make it back safely, while Sammy and Mario required assistance.
It was one of those moments that reminds us that in cross-country flying, every extra mile counts—and fuel planning is everything. Here are some videos that tell the story of what happened much better than words ever could.
Tandem Introductory Flights
Luis Ruiz was back in action with more Tandem Introductory Flights. This time, he flew with Kenny Vélez and Adriana, who was celebrating her birthday. Both had traveled from Arecibo to experience the thrill of paramotor flight.
Luis also took to fly one of the Team members, José “TNT” Villanueva. He is currently considering making his return to the sport, so perhaps this flight was the beginning of another chapter in his paramotor story. And just like that, another weekend in the books for the Team Kamikazes—filled with flying, adventure, training, friendship, and plenty of stories to tell.
The sky was ours… and we made the most of it.
