Thursday, December 29, 2022 – Kamikazes Pilots at Loiza, and was very Windy…

Luis Ruiz had confirmed to attend with a group of Kamikaze pilots to Loiza to fly. But first, he had to stop in Isabela to fulfill some previously coordinated Demo Flight commitments. Upon arriving in Isabela and due to the intensity of the winds that were already around 20 mph+ at 8 AM, Luis decided to cancel the activity in Isabela and leave for Loiza.

In Loiza, Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne, Edgardo Rivera, Omar Colon, Gustavo Verta, Ray Malave, John Mushnick, Christopher Montes and his girlfriend were waiting, among other pilots who would say present. Seeing that the intensity of the winds did not improve, Luis decided to turn away and advice them and return home to rest his injured knee and not expose it to those strong winds.

Even so, the pilots who made the trip had a Great Time with BBQ included and even a couple of them, at least Mario, Edgardo and Chris Montes, ventured out to fly in wind conditions above 22mph+.

Here we present some Videos and Photos of what happened in Loiza. It was the first time that Mario flew in Loiza and he had to do it in strong winds. Our respects 💪!!!
