Weekend in Isabela with good weather and with the Corona Pro Surf event right next to us at Middles Beach. This event takes place every year, and a large audience comes to our beaches. (This time they didn’t have many waves and it was difficult for them to hold the Event).

Saturday, October 14, 2023…
Light winds from the NNW were the norm for the day. The weather for flying was excellent. The pilots had to win their flights by taking off in these conditions.
And we had a large group of friends who came to live their flight experiences. With the good weather we handle to give them their experience of flying and at the same time flying close to the Surfing Contest.
In addition, Instructor Luis Ruiz continued the training of student Tom Myers. In fact, at one point, Luis took Tom to fly alongside him, and as part of the training, Tom was in charge of the controls for a good part of the flight.
And for the pilots, Edgardo was the most active pilot, he was flying practically all day, even he tried to do a Demo Fly to a personal friend and possible student Luis Serrano, of 250 pounds, but it was too much for the light winds of the day.
At some point, Luis Ruiz took out a tail ribbon of about 900 feet long from his inventory to fly around and Edgardo grabbed it and flew it along the coast for a long time.
Is important to note, that today was the Birthday of the Kamikaze Pilot, Omar Colon, and Jessica, Mercedes Sabah daughter. Congratulations!!!
Sunday, October 15, 2023…
Again light wind conditions were the norm for the day. And in the same way Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell were in charge of carrying out the Demo flights of new friends who came to live their experiences. Edgardo Rivera collaborated with two flights at the end of the afternoon.
Tom Myers continued his training, this time Ian Darrell was assisting Luis in Tom’s training. Luis, for his part, brought out the 900-foot tail ribbon again and this time he was the one who took it for a fly. He flew together with the pilots Alberto, Roberto Nieves, Sammy, Omar and Edgardo who were flying close to the tail.
We finished the activity at sunset. It was a very active weekend with many flights and a great time. Once again we thank God for these opportunities that he allows us to live!!! Blessings to everyone!!!.
