After some unstable weather during the first days of February, we gets back on Track for the following days. Here a resume of some good adventures, with pilots at Isabela and Dorado!!!

After three consecutive days affected by a cold front, we finally made it to Isabela and managed to get some flights in.
Present were Luis Ruiz, Scott Sansone, and Mario Muñiz with his wife Ivonne, who had just returned from a vacation trip across Europe.
Early in the morning, with very light winds, Luis attempted to give Steven Ferguson an Tandem introductory flight into the sport. Steven, who follows us on social media, came ready to experience paramotoring firsthand. Unfortunately, the flight had to be postponed. We’ve rescheduled his experience for later in 2026.
Luis later launched for a solo flight, while Scott practiced his Front Launch technique with the paraglider. He decided to take the day off from flying. Mario and Ivonne, still enjoying their vacation, stopped by to spend some relaxing time with the group.

As is tradition, the pilots Pedro Agostini, Gabriel Martinez and Harry Dávila were active in the Dorado area, completing several flights. We’ve included some videos of their adventures there.

An Outstanding Day of Flying at Villa Pesquera, Isabela
Sunday brought excellent flying conditions and great camaraderie at Villa Pesquera Isabela.
Pilots present included Nixon Porrata, Edgardo Rivera, Fio López, Darwin Hernández, Pedro Gregory, Sammy Badillo, Francisco Oller, and Luis Ruiz with his son Noah Enrique. Visiting us was Fabian from France, an expert in kite boarding and modern foil systems.
An Active Morning…
The morning started strong. While Nixon was troubleshooting issues with his paramotor, Edgardo, in other hand, had already completed an early morning round-trip flight to Hatillo — approximately 50 miles — before the day had barely begun.
Not stopping there, Edgardo also completed a tandem introductory flight for Fabian, who is interested in the sport.
However, the flight came at a cost — Edgardo lost his car keys mid-flight. Replacing them turned out to be expensive, and unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time it has happened. Let’s hope it’s the last!
Meanwhile, Luis continued his regular Sunday training session with student Francisco Oller, who continues to show impressive progress in paraglider control.
Fio’s First Paragliding Flight
In the afternoon, with relatively strong northern winds, we accompanied Fio for what would become her first paraglider flight from Paul’s house — a unique launch spot prepared right from his balcony.
When we arrived, Darwin had already been flying all day, making routes west to Jobos Beach in Isabela and east toward Guajataca. We also met Alex, a pilot from Utah, who was visiting with his wife Jessy. Alex mentioned he follows Luis Ruiz and Team Kamikazes on social media.
Then it was Fio’s moment. With direct assistance from Edgardo, he launched and flew around the area successfully.
Even more impressive — he completed a top landing back at the launch site, a complex maneuver performed with guidance from Darwin.
Congratulations, Fio!
Back to Villa Pesquera
After Fio’s adventure, we returned to Villa Pesquera, where Chino Morales joined us to hang out. Luis Ruiz and Edgardo Rivera wrapped up the day with a few more flights around the area.
Despite the unstable weather throughout February, this weekend reminded us why we love the sport — great flights, steady progress, unforgettable moments, and the strong bond of our flying community.
