As we mentioned in our previous story, this past weekend brought a paramotor pilots’ camping event to Punta Guilarte Beach in Arroyo. Several members of the team arrived with trailers, making it easy to stay overnight, and Wilkins Torres’ birthday turned out to be the perfect excuse for many pilots to confirm their trip to Arroyo.
This time, despite everyone’s eagerness to fly, airtime was somewhat limited due to north-east winds, which tend to make conditions tricky in this area. Ideally, winds should come from the south-east. Still, there was flying—of course—and when pilots weren’t in the air, they found plenty of other ways to stay busy. In the end, as expected, it was an amazing time shared among pilots and their families who gathered for the occasion.
Here are some videos capturing what went down on Saturday in Arroyo. As always, unforgettable—and without a doubt, an epic event!
