Monday, May 15, 2023 – Punta Santiago Humacao – A Special Visit – Anthony Green & Family!!!

This Monday, May 15, 2023, was a very special one. It turns out that the pilot friend Anthony Green and his family arrived to Puerto Rico as part of his journey across the Atlantic Ocean, which included a departure from Italy, stopping somewhere in Africa and from there touring the smaller islands of the Caribbean until his arrival in Puerto Rico. All this on his catamaran, accompanied by his wife Verity and daughter Remie.

Anthony works remotely, traveling the world and representing the BGD Paraglider line, of which we are importers on the island. He has also worked with Parajet. Here we share some of his spectacular and inspiring videos across his travel.

In Madness Lies Wisdom…

The prior two days he was in Vieques and Culebra, and he was finally reaching the shores of the big island, Puerto Rico. The meeting point was Punta Santiago in Humacao. I traveled there with my young son Noah Enrique, accompanied by a paramotor and everything necessary to fly, and a little later my other son Ian Darrell would join us, accompanied by his girlfriend Paola, and also with a complete flight equipment in his vehicle.

The Start of our Story…

In the morning hours we went flying while waiting for the arrival of Ian Darrell. The route was simple: visit the Palmas del Mar marina in Humacao and fly over the beautiful apartments and Condos in the area. I made this trip together with my little son Noah, who served as co-pilot. Once over Palmas, we managed to land in a big grass field before returning back to Punta Santiago. The photos and videos of the adventure are impressive and we share some of it with this story.

Once we returned to Punta Santiago, Ian and Paola also arrived. We were kind of hungry, so, we packed all our flight gear in the vehicles. Then, the four of us went with Anthony in his inflatable dingy to his catamaran, which was anchored right next to Monkey Island.

In the catamaran…

There, we spent a pleasant time with Anthony and his family, who prepared for lunch some lobsters they had caught during the trip. They were delicious. Thank you!!!🙏

After a couple of hours of good sharing, which included swimming in the waters near the island, and seeing how the monkeys interacted on the island, it was time to return.

Afternoon Flights…

Once back in Punta Santiago, we set up the paramotors and flew again, this time accompanied by Ian. Noah this time, keep practicing with the paragliders on ground. We stayed there until sunset. It was time to return to our homes and Anthony returned to his catamaran, from where he would continue sailing, with further stops at Guayama, Ponce, Parguera in Lajas, Joyudas, Cabo Rojo, Isla de Mona, Turk and Caicos until he eventually reached the East Coast of the USA, specifically Virginia.

See you soon Anthony. Thank you for all the attentions and have a good and blessed trip!!!🙏
