Sunday, April 28, 2024 – And we visited Añasco, at the Private field of Berto Garcia…

Due to adverse weather conditions for flying in the northern area, we decided to visit our pilot friend and veteran pilot of Team Kamikazes, Berto García. He has set up a private flight location for him, right next to where the car track, “Underground Motor Sport” is located. The entrance for the place is located near the famous Anasco bridge.

We had to do this visit in the morning, since the weather forecasts indicated that after 8:30 AM it would no longer be possible to fly. Several Team Kamikazes pilots gathered. Some of them were camping at Isabela, so it was just a matter of getting up early to take advantage of the flights.

Once we arrived at sunrise, 6:15 AM, Berto was waiting for us with his friend “Chey” Sánchez. Both had taken on the task of preparing breakfast for all of us who arrived. Thank you!!!

From the Isabela camping area arrived, Jomar Crespo, Edgardo Rivera, Darwin Hernández, Chino Morales, and Wilkins Torres. Luis Ruiz arrived from his house with his son Noah Enrique. As expected in the morning, the conditions were good for flying, although the ground was somewhat wet due to the rains of the past few days.

The action…

Berto García Take Off in his Trike accompanied by Chey as a passenger, Luis Ruiz did the same, leaving in his Trike with little Noah, and both Jomar and Darwin managed to fly away with frontal takeoffs.

Edgardo Rivera on this occasion could not take off initially, but after Luis got off his flight, he lent him his Trike, and Edgardo also kept flying around. As expected, at 8:30 AM we ended the activity, but we managed to fly on a day that seemed very unlikely to do so.
