The Morning flights from previous coordination…
Light winds coming in from the North were the norm for the day. This means that even though the conditions were very good for flying, the flight had to be earned on the takeoff run.
Luis Ruiz and his son Ian had a difficult task in the morning, because due to previous commitments, Alfredo Molina with his two friends, Carlos and Jonsue, were waiting to fly. In normal situations, we would have waited for the wind to improve its intensity, but the guys were leaving today back to New York and needed to be at SJU Airport for their flight at 1 PM. So, we had to try their flights very early or they loose the experience…
Finally, the flights were made. It was a great challenge, but we succeed in the realization of the 2 flights We leave here a short video of the adventures…
Later in the morning and with better conditions to take off, Kristy, Josué, Ivelisse and his son Ezequiel also lived the experience of fly. Everyone having a great time on their adventures…
The Pilots and their flights…
The flying conditions were excellent until 2 PM, after which the wind was rolling from North to the W. This situation complicated the flying of the pilots, mostly when the wind direction at some points, came in from the ground.
Pablo, Sammy and Mario managed to fly. In the meantime, Raúl Rivera Sr. had discomfort in one leg and decided not to try, while his brother Edwin continues his practices for when we have better conditions for his first “solo” flight. In the case of Miguel Orona, he is step by step, getting comfortable in his flights. He made today his 3rd fly ever. He was very happy and that’s is all about!!!. Congratulations!!!
At about 3 PM, Sammy Badillo was flying and encountered the turbulence of the W wind on his flight. Then, Robert Rodríguez, failed his launch in those conditions and in this situation we terminated the flight activity.
