Intense winds continues during the week. This time at over 22 mph with gusts close to 30 mph… BUT, we continue to do some activities…
Wednesday, June 11, 2025 – The visit of the pilot Nagendra Pratap and his family ( from India !!!)…
Nagendra is a veteran and renowned Paramotor pilot in India. He has participated in multiple Paramotor events and World Championships. He follows our activities through the Social Media, and finally arrive to Puerto Rico to live some flying experiences with the family of pilots of Team Kamikazes. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate this time.
The Plan B…
Given the impossibility of flying. Luis Ruiz took them to discover different places in the NW area of the island. This included, a visit to Jobos Beach in Isabela, “Crash Boat” Beach in Aguadilla, the Aguada Harbor, the Rincón Lighthouse, and Dona Lala Beach in Rincón, where they even rented Jet Skis as part of their adventure.
In the afternoon we had to say goodbye, and Nagendra is planning to return to the island to make the pending flights. We are evaluating dates between October to December 2025. Stay Tuned…
Thursday, June 12, 2025 – Strong winds continue…
Again Luis Ruiz returned to Villa Pesquera Isabela, this time he met with the pilot and friend Darwin Hernández and the student Scott who came to continue his training. The winds on this occasion were between 23 to 27 mph…
Luis and Darwin managed to Take Off in these conditions. It was impressive to see Darwin perform some stunts in those conditions with his Flow RPM2 of 15-meters. While Luis, using his 18 meter Sky Z-Blade recorded speeds in his GPS flying Downwind of 64 mph!!!
Scott, for his part, decided to kept practicing with the trainer paraglider of 14 meter BGD Seed. He took advantage of his weight, and perform a high quality good training, despite the existing conditions.
Just for Professional Pilots with the correct equipment to fly in this conditions…
