We begin an intense weekend of flights and healthy sharing with the family of pilots from Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico. The meeting place was Posa de Teodoro in Isabela, where some of the pilots were camping all weekend. And this particular day, being the Holiday, 4th of July, we had the beaches packed with people, and for us pilots, the best flying weather there has been in the last month (winds at 8 to 15 mph all day). So the formula to start the weekend was served…

Knowing that the beaches would be filled with people, we were in the area of Posa de Teodoro early, taking the best possible spot. Edgardo had been traveling since 4 AM from his hometown of Aguas Buenas, and Chino Morales was waiting for him. Some minutes later, Wilkins Torres and Luis Ruiz arrived with their respective Trailers to cordon off the area.
Posa de Teodoro area provides us with an excellent flying area. But we must coordinate how to get the equipment to the comfortable area to fly, since from where we park the vehicles and Trailers, to the flight area there are about 75 meters of loose sand where vehicles that do not have 4×4 cannot pass. Thus, we were moving the equipment to the flight area, in the 4×4 vehicles of Scott, Chino Morales and Luis Ruiz. And we took advantage and set up a second camp in the place.
The first flights of the day…
Once we had everything squared, we began the flight activities. The pilot Jesús Rivera arrived flying from Hatillo. On car arrived his wife and sons directly to Isabela. Luis Ruiz had some introductory flights to the sport pending, and he went out to fly first thing in the morning with Melo McCarthy, who arrived accompanied by his wife and the friend Rosita Gonzalez. Pilots flying in the morning, Albert Cardona, Jesus Rivera, Chino Morales, Edgardo Rivera, Luis Ruiz and the pilot/student Scott Sansone, who just yesterday made his first two (2) flights ever, and today he made his third (3) and fourth (4) flights of his young career. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

A Visit to Jobos Beach on July 4th, with NO Traffic, we arrive FLYING…
In the afternoon, the pilots, Albert, Chino, Edgardo, Jesus and Luis, decide to fly together in formation around the coast. The plans are to visit Jobos Beach, as in past years, landing at Foso Jacinto.
