After a rainy day from yesterday, today we finally have excellent flying conditions. And we had many flight activities and training in Villa Pesquera Isabela. And we are going to tell in detail…
Kamikaze Pilots and Family Present…
Kris and his wife Rebecca
Fio Lopez
Francisco Canabal IV
Harry Davila
Luis Ruiz
The morning activities…
In the morning Kris received his new Apco F5 paraglider, which was initially tested by Luis, and at the same time we took the opportunity to also deliver his NVolo helmet which comes with several communication systems.
Details perceived in flying the Apco F5…
This is a new model of paraglider from Apco. It is situated in performance and characteristic, as they indicate, between the Apco F3 and the Apco Lift EZ R.
Luis Ruiz found it very easy to inflate, perfect for takeoffs in low wind, very dynamic in turns, but at the same time without oscillations, possibly thanks to its Tomahawk system on the top of the glider. Speed, better than expected and its construction looks robust, typical of the Apco people.
Flights by students/pilots Kris and Canabal IV…
With the assistance of Luis Ruiz and Fio López, both Kris and Canabal manage to Take Off and fly. Kris was using his new F5 paraglider, while Canabal IV, went flying with a 29 meter BGD Magic paraglider as part of his training. Here we have some visuals of the experience of both pilots.
Also, we need to comment, that the pilot Harry Davila, from Vega Baja, made his flights # 21 & # 22. He is showing great progress, even in condition of winds at over 18 mph+. Congratulations…
Training…
Practicing hard were Fio López, who is also strengthening her knee, and Rebecca, who is ready for greater challenges. Again we leave some visuals of their practices.
Tandem Introduction flights to the sport…
The Instructor Luis Ruiz once again had the task of showing the beauties of our sport to new friends who visited us. This time, the friend Leniel Rosado, who had previously flown with Luis, bring his daughter Adri to live the experience. She resides in Rhode Island, USA. Also enjoying her flight was Vivian García, who arrived from Rincon. After her experience, she is considering to gets the training to fly on her own. We will let you know if this actually materializes…
