Finally here… The second Part of “Zumba la Maruk2”, the largest Paramotor event of the year in Puerto Rico. Last year the first “Zumba la Maruka” was carried out at the Anasco Municipal Beach, with a large participation. But flights were very limited due to weather conditions. This time, the actions were moved to Posa de Teodoro, Isabela. A place with good space, security, both for camping and for flying regardless of the level of each pilot. This Part II covers from Saturday, August 30, and ended on Monday, September 1 (Labor Day). Every day we have excellent conditions for flying, so, we had great stories every day.

Saturday, August 30, 2025 – Massive participation of Paramotors Families at Zumba la Maruk2 !!!
The day with biggest activity and participation of pilots and friends. In the morning, there was a briefing detailing security aspects for the event for ALL pilots. The briefing was leaded by Luis Ruiz and Gregory Santiago. We want that everyone enjoy and fly safe in the activity. We also took the opportunity to pay tribute and remember Pilots who are no longer with us.
Details of the “Accuracy” event were given, which with so many pilots flying, was difficult to carry out. We managed to started it, and in the end, the semifinals pending were, Edgardo Rivera vs. Jesús Rivera, and Pedro Agostini vs. Samuel Travis. This semifinals are planned to be carried out in a future activity. Stay Tuned…
Luis Ruiz also made some introductory flights to the sport, as was the case of Andrés, son of Canabal IV and Suli, a Peruvian girl who was in the event with her family.
Edgardo Rivera, made some introduction flights to friends who arrived at the activity, also made some reparation to damage Paramotors in the night.
Also notable was the “Towing” flight that Pablo Cruz made to little Noah Enrique. Once again we leave here some videos of the day…

Sunday August 31, 2025…
After yesterday’s active day, today fatigue was already beginning to be seen in the majority of pilots. Luis Ruiz was making some previously coordinated introductory flights to the sport. Edgardo kept fixing some paramotors. And several pilots enjoyed the Posa de Teodoro, whose warm waters invited them to relax there for hours.
Monday, September 1, 2025… (Labor Day)
The last day of the activity, and it was shared and flew until sunset. The survivors for this day were Edgardo & family, Fernando de Hostos & wife, Gregory & Family, Berto García, Luis Ruiz, Nixon Porrata, Canabal IV and his son and Chino Morales.
Luis Ruiz again made some Introduction flights and Canabal IV made his 3rd flight in his young career.
Delicate situation for Edgardo Rivera…
At some point of the afternoon, Edgardo Rivera goes for a fly in direction to Montones Beach, close to Villas del Mar Hau, for his surprise, and for some reason, the throttle of his Paramotor gets tangle with the propeller on the back? That is supposed that never happens… That situation provoke that the engine keeps the rpm high and Edgardo start to gain altitude without control without the possibility to turn off the engine at the moment… he managed to work the situation, check the video, where he explain everything while Chino Morales goes for the rescue.
Also notable, that Chino Morales Take the pilot Edgardo Rivera for a Training Tandem Flight.
