We had an amazing day at Villa Pesquera, Isabela, where the Team Kamikazes family gathered to celebrate Mia’s first birthday — the lovely daughter of pilot Hermes Ferrer and his wife Neisha. The weather couldn’t have been better, and we had a full house, perfect for sharing good times and enjoying some flying fun together.

Morning Flights and a Few Mechanical Challenges
The morning brought great flying conditions, and several pilots — like Wilkins Torres — took advantage to fly a few times around the area. Unfortunately, Edgardo wasn’t so lucky at first. He ran into some issues with his paramotor, possibly related to the fuel, carburetor, or air filter.
Luckily, Ricky jumped in to help, and their teamwork while diagnosing the problem made for a pretty entertaining moment. After a good cleaning and reinstalling the air filter (Ricky’s suggestion!), Edgardo’s paramotor was running much better — and ready for the skies again.
Celebrating Mia’s First Birthday
What a joy it was to see so many friends and family arrive to celebrate Mia’s first birthday. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of love. We’re so thankful to everyone who took time out of their day to join us — it meant the world to share this special moment together. May God continue to bless little Mia with good health, happiness, and a bright future surrounded by her wonderful parents.
Thank you all! Until next time — blue skies and happy flying! ✈️
