Flying Activities
The weather cooperated beautifully throughout the morning, providing excellent flying conditions before stronger winds rolled in during the afternoon. The day’s flying activities kicked off with Nixon and Edgardo, who, as usual, entertained everyone with their friendly and spirited debates before taking to the skies.
One of the highlights came when Pedro Agostini arrived at the event by air, having launched from Posa del Obispo in Arecibo. Later, several pilots accompanied him on a return flight so he could retrieve his vehicle—a perfect example of the camaraderie that defines our flying community.
Ian and Noah: Brothers in the Sky
Ian arrived with his girlfriend Paola and took every opportunity to share the experience of flight with his younger brother Noah. The birthday boy flew an impressive four times throughout the day, including two flights in significantly stronger winds later in the afternoon.
Watching the brothers fly together was one of the most memorable moments of the day—a special bond strengthened through their shared passion for aviation.
Miguel Carrasquillo’s First Solo Flight
A particularly emotional milestone belonged to Miguel Carrasquillo, a native of Aguas Buenas and a close friend and student of Edgardo Rivera who dedicated himself to helping Miguel achieve his dream of flying.
After several days of training and preparation, today was the day we would attempt Miguel’s first SOLO flight.
With guidance from Edgardo and support from Luis Ruiz, Miguel carefully completed all the required procedures and practice exercises before launching successfully into the sky. His first flight was a tremendous success, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his aviation journey.
We will be sharing more about Miguel’s inspiring story in the future, as he is a true example of perseverance and determination. We also captured video of his launch and his reactions after landing—moments filled with pure joy and accomplishment.
Welcome to the Team Kamikazes family, Miguel, and congratulations on becoming a pilot!
Noah’s Birthday Celebration
The gathering was packed with pilots, relatives, and friends, creating an atmosphere of friendship, laughter, and celebration. After an incredible day of flying, everyone came together to celebrate Noah’s birthday.
The festivities included Noah taking his turn at the piñata and enjoying a birthday celebration surrounded by the people who care about him most.
We would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to join us and celebrate as one big family. Specially to Pablo Cruz who was in charge of the BBQ. Days like these remind us that paramotoring is about much more than flying—it’s about the friendships, support, and unforgettable memories we create together.
Blessings to everyone, and thank you for making Noah’s birthday such an epic day to remember! ✈️🎉🎂🪂
