We had excellent flying conditions ALL morning. In the afternoon a storm cloud approached us, but we had already flown until we were tired. Here we go with the stories…
The Paella…
Harry Dávila and his wife, Cuqui, had previously coordinated to make a Spanish meal, a PAELLA, for everyone present. They had been preparing it since the day before and it was enjoyed by everyone present at the activity. It turned out excellent and each and every one of those present enjoyed the food. Other pilots and families brought drinks, hors d’oeuvres, cakes, and the necessary cutlery to organize the activity. Thanks to Harry and Cuqui for the details and the food. It was delicious!!!
Edwin Rivera, First “Solo” flight…
The student Edwin Rivera, a native of Vega Baja, had already been training for some weeks. We only waited for good weather to attempt his first “Solo” flight. Well the day was today, and with the instructions of Luis Ruiz, Edwin managed to make his first “Solo” flight. He was in the air for some 30 minutes, and Take Off and Landing were excellent!!!. With this he joins his brother Raúl, his nephew Raulito, Harry and José Rolón, all from Vega Baja and now Paramotor pilots. Congratulations!!!
Harry’s progress, and the arrival of Hermes and Noel Vale…
Harry Dávila has been one of the most skilled students we have had recently. This time on only its 5th flight, he already took off and landed basically unassisted. In fact, today he flew his 22-meter Flow Cosmos Power sports paraglider for the first time. He had control problems at the beginning, but he quickly adjusted to it and went on a “cross” flight with Sammy Badillo along the entire coast to Jobos Beach.
Likewise, it was nice to see the Team pilots, Hermes Ferrer and Noel Vale, resume their practices after months of absence. Noel was practicing with his paraglider on Ground, and Hermes, after practicing, also went out to fly around the area. Very good guys, we hope to see you more often. Along with them, the lady students Sherly Hernández and Brenda López were also practicing with the paragliders.
Wilkins “Chino” Morales dancing in the air and Fio López continues to improve…
It’s nice to see the progress of the school’s alumni and now pilots. This time Chino Morales, taking advantage of his new Insta360 camera, was flying around the Corona Pro Surf event and at the same time was dancing for a while. Watch the video!!!
Meanwhile, Fio López, who was not sure he would arrive at the activity until the last minute, was actively flying around. This time making tight turns and practicing their “Touch & Go” as you will see in the videos!!!
Brenda López and her birthday…
Brenda has been practicing paragliding and we are sure that she is ready for greater challenges in the coming days. This time, without her expecting it, we had a surprise birthday celebration for her, since she had her birthday a few days ago which we celebrate in the activity and it was very emotional. Congratulations Brenda!!! Let’s go for more!!!
Pilots activities during the day…
The pilots were flying at wish in the morning, we could see on the air at Pablo, Mario, Chino, Fio, Ian, Luis, Sammy, Pedro, Ricardo and Edwin, Thanks also to Ivonne Valdez for many of the videos presented here…
Pedro Agostini and Sammy Badillo, landing near the Corona Pro Surf…
it should be noted that Pedro and Sammy took it a little further in their flights and decided to land at Posa de Teodoro, next to the Corona Pro Surf Event. They walked around the area and took some videos, before taking off again and flying back to Villa Pesquera. Very good guys!!!
Friends coming to Live their Flight Experiences…
During the morning Luis Ruiz, assisted by his son Ian Darrell, were very active doing some previously agreed introductory flights of the sport. Geovanna (Isabela), Luis Martínez (San Juan), Joseph (Aguada), Julio (San Juan), Nayeli (Vega Baja) and Doriam (Florida, USA) came to live their experiences from different parts of the island and abroad. . Each and every one of them having an excellent time flying through the skies of Isabela.
Stormy sky in the afternoon…
A storm cloud was developing in the interior of the island, this after noon, and we knew that it was a matter of time before it reached our area. The sky turned very black, and most of the storm stayed between the towns of San Sebastián, Aguada and Rincón.
By 2:30 PM the Storm arrived to our area, but we had already enjoyed an unforgettable activity. Many members of the Kamikazes family said present. Thank you all very much for taking your time and creating an unforgettable day for all of us. Blessings!!!
