This is our first official activity of 2025, and it took place in Villa Pesquera, Isabela. In the previous few days, we again had windy conditions, and not much could be done. It is worth noting that the first flight of the year was made by Berto García in the Anasco Valley, on January 1st, early in the morning. Congratulations!!!

The Adventures…
The first activity of the year had its challenges since the days before, and the days that follow, according to the meteorological models, a lot of wind is expected. The opportunity to fly was today for those who could arrive, and today it was acceptable to fly until 2 PM, after that it would become windy again.
The student Sherly Hernández was the first to arrive to give her morning yoga classes. She will soon resume his training activities. Also, it was nice to see Wilkins Torres and his family back. He had been recovering from surgery for more than 5 months and it was his first flight in a long time. His wife, Brenda kept practicing with the Paraglider. She is ready for bigger challenges, Stay tuned…
As for the pilots, Sammy Badillo, Wilkins Torres and Pablo Cruz went out to fly early, as did Luis Ruiz, who had summoned people who were waiting for their introductory flights to the sport, as part of the school’s work.
Introduction flights to the sport…

Sandra Aragones from Mayaguez
Sandy Lucido from Delaware, USA and accompanied by her husband Joe
Ashley from Arecibo whom had given the surprise gift by her husband Chris
Oscar from Bayamon, accompanied by his mother Melissa
Luis took advantage of the morning to carry out the flights, and each and every one of the participants enjoyed a great flight experience. Happy Faces!!! Here we leave some videos that best describe what we experienced during the day.
At around 2 PM the weather changed and became very active again. On this occasion we were able to see how the cloud system reached our region until finally covering us in rain and winds. This system will last at least two days over Puerto Rico.
