Weekend, May 24 & 25, 2025 – A Windy weekend but we handle to make the most of it (Both Days)…

Weekend of challenges, the wind picked up both days. And even though we had a difficult time handling it, we were able to have some activities on both Saturday and Sunday…

Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Isabela)…

Luis Ruiz was in Villa Pesquera Isabela in the morning. Among the plans for the day, was carrying out some Tandem introductory flights to the sport. But, early on, the winds were close to 20 mph+ and increasing as the hours passed.

Faced with this situation, Luis canceled some flights of people traveling from the metropolitan area. However, there was one flight that was not canceled, and it was Andria, daughter of Arnaldo and Edmarie, natives of Isabela. If the flight couldn’t take place, at least they were close to their homes.

Also arriving were the pilots/students, Abdiel Galarza, who left early, and Francisco Canabal IV, a possible student of the Team, and who was assisting Luis on the flights.

Luis handled to test the weather in the morning flying his sporty Paraglider Sky Z-Blade, 18-meters. For reference, flying downwind, Luis achieve to speeds of 58 mph+… Later, he managed to do the Tandem Fly of Andria, who was very happy. In next days we will coordinate the flights of her parents Arnaldo and Edmarie and even the young brother Mauro. Stay Tuned…

Andria comes with his Dad Arnaldo to Live the Flying Experience!!!

Sunday, May 25, 2025 (Hatillo)…

We went in the morning to Parque del Norte Hatillo, where even though the weather forecast indicated that it was going to be very windy, we managed to get in some flights. In addition to celebrating little Noah Enrique’s 10th birthday.

The actions…

The winds were steady all day, but with an intensity between 22 to 25 mph. Very strong, even so, Pedro Agostini and Luis Ruiz managed to fly on a couple of occasions. They were using sports paragliders, Flow RPM2 17 meters from Pedro, and Sky Z Blade 18 meters from Luis.

It was also possible to kite with small paragliders on ground. That was the case with Noah early in the morning, and then in the afternoon by Ian.

Pedro, in other hand, had a very funny moment kiting a Paraglider. So, he decided to kite Berto García’s paraglider, an Apco NRG Pro 18 meters, but this time, without a harness, only using his hands. Here we leave the video that best describes the situation.
