We headed out at dawn to Boquerón, Cabo Rojo, ready to take a sunrise flight. Today marked the final day of flying with Anthony Green, who will continue his journey by boat in the coming days.
We arrived early for the adventure, joined by pilots Nixon Porrata, Edgardo Rivera, Kristiano, Luis Ruiz, and Anthony Green, who was accompanied by his pilot friend from Florida, USA, Nathan.
Unfortunately this time, Luis Ruiz had trouble arriving early due to heavy morning traffic along PR-2 in Añasco. This delay affected Kristiano’s flight, as he was waiting for some parts. When he finally attempted to take off, he was unable to launch. Unfortunate moments—but there will be better days ahead.
Despite the setbacks, spirits remained high. Anthony and Nathan took to the skies together, while Nixon and Edgardo launched on a cross-country flight toward the towns of San Germán, Maricao, and Sabana Grande.
