After taking a couple of days off to recharge and give our flight gear some much-needed maintenance, we were back in action.
And surprisingly — even on a Thursday in the middle of the week — we once again had a full house of pilots and friends at the field…
Pilots and family members who joined the day:
- Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne
- Javier González
- Nixon Porrata
- Edgardo Rivera
- Abel Bonilla
- Pedro Gregory
- Edwin Collazo
- Darwin Hernández
- Alexander (Juncos)
- Luis Ruiz
Activities of the day…
As has become the trend over the past few weeks, a big part of the day focused on training our newest students. Edwin, Javier, Abel, Alexander, Pedro — and even Mario — were putting in serious work practicing paraglider ground handling and control techniques.
Meanwhile, pilots Mario, Nixon, Edgardo, Darwin, and Luis were flying practically all day long, taking full advantage of the conditions.
Tandem Intro Flights…
Luis Ruiz was in charge of several tandem introductory flights, including flights with Kay, who was visiting with her family from Pennsylvania, as well as Mildred from Toa Baja and Jennifer López from Florida/Añasco. We’ll be sharing some highlights of the amazing experiences our friends enjoyed in the skies.
At the same time, Edgardo was also helping with tandem flights, mainly for school students Edwin, Pedro, and Alexander. Afterward, he spent the rest of the day flying alongside Nixon and Darwin, keeping the sky busy from start to finish.
