Unlike the past weekends. On this one, there wasn’t much wind, rather, the wind never went above 5 mph. For experienced pilots this was not a major challenge. But for Novice pilots, it was quite a challenge to be able to take off in the sand and no wind…
Early in the morning Luis managed to perform the Demo Flight of María, wife of friend Benjamin Vázquez. They traveled all the way from the town of Las Piedras to enjoy the Paramotor experience. Benjamin even kept Maria in surprised until the last moment to announce her fly. So his face, when she knew that was going to fly, was “priceless” 😉.
After Maria’s fly, the wind was losing intensity and Luis had to suspend the activities of Demo flights due to how demanding the take off launching had become. Along with Luis, Sammy Badillo and Omar Colon were flying around, and they enjoyed a very pleasant climate. José Gil and his wife Jaimee and Pablo and his wife Millie arrived a little later…
José Gil was practicing the controls of the paraglider. But by the time we decided to give him the green light to try his first “solo” flight, the wind intensity keeps going down. So, we decided to postpone this fly for a day where it would be easier for him to take off on his first flight 🙂…
In the meantime, Iván Torres, successfully made 2 Free Flights from the Farallón. Despite the low wind intensity, he managed to stay there flying for good minutes.

In the afternoon, and as planned during the week, we moved to Alberto Sabah’s house, to spend a pleasant afternoon. There apart from the pilots who were active flying during the day, other member of Kamikazes family said present…
Alberto and his wife Mercedes, Jessica Cruz, wife of Luis with her sons Ian Darrell, (with his girlfriend Paola) and little Noah Enrique. Also, Hermes Ferrer, Neisha and their 2 children, Yan and Katelyn. Danis Rodríguez and his girlfriend Luisa. Ivan Torres and his wife Pamela and Luis Cruz (Pablo’s brother) with his wife Carmen.
The “grill” was in charge of Chefs Pablo and Omar, and we had a great time in the pool area.
