This month has been one of celebrations within the Team Kamikazes family. This time it was time to celebrate the birthday of the Kamikaze girls Ermelinda Albino, wife of Ricardo González and Ivonne Valdez, wife of pilot Mario Muñiz. The meeting point this time was the Parque del Norte in Hatillo.
This time we had Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie, preparing those delicious “alcapurrias” that we like so much. There was a Full House in the activity.

Weather conditions started off relatively mild in the morning and turned windy in the afternoon. The first thing that several of the members of the Team did was to start cleaning the coast of the beach. Parque del Norte is a fabulous place. What a pity that the beach area is always full of debris…🤨
David Garber and Luis Ruiz were in charge of carrying out several Demo Flights to new friends who arrived ready to Live their Paramotor Experiences.
Living the Experience…
Among our new friends came from Toa Baja, Frankie Mirandez and his son Ricardo. Arriving with pilot Kyle were, Laura, Sherry and Sean, ready to Live the Experience. In fact, Laura’s flight with Luis was made twice, since on the first occasion, Luis understood that the conditions were not suitable for flying and they landed quickly. After some minutes, the stabilize and they took off again. So in theory Laura enjoyed two flights in the day 🙂. Also from Michigan, USA arrived, Jenny, Alejandra and Roger and finally the locals from Hatillo, Paola and Edwin, who is seriously considering taking training with the Team. Stay Tuned…
Team Kamikaze Pilots…
The first pilot to fly this time was Cheo. And he left when the winds were still changing direction and he was flying in turbulence for a long time. This was at 9 AM. By 9:30 AM the winds began to stabilize, but also to increase in intensity.
At one point in the morning, Edgardo allowed Sammy and Ricardo to fly ahead of him, following the same take-off route. Big mistake, since the wake of the wind from the Paramotors of both pilots went over Edgardo’s paraglider causing a big entanglement and therefore Edgardo’s flight was delayed several minutes. You can imagine how happy Edgardo was at that moment, 😖. Meanwhile, Mario today made his second “solo” flight of his young career. There he goes little by little fulfilling his dreams of flying 💪.
Among the students, Mario, Jomar, TNT, Ray and Joaquín kept practicing and controlling the paraglider. Edgardo and Cheo were helping Luis with the students. Jomar, who made his first solo flight this past week, brought some snacks to the activity to celebrate his first flight. Thanks for the gesture 💪 !!!
Little Noah, on the other hand, had a new friend in the Park, his name Michael. Well, it turns out that Noah was teaching Michael with the mini paragliding, so he is already practicing for when he has to do it in real life, God willing 🙏!
Again, thanks to Pablo and Millie for the delicious “alcapurrias” and the work of preparing them for everyone in the activity. We are blessed 🙏!
At about 6 PM we were already leaving the Park before they closed it. Thanks again to all the people who said present. Tomorrow with the favor of God, the plans are Isabela. We’ll see what adventures await us…☺️
