Friday, January 21, 2022 – Students in a very windy Day…

After several days of well deserved rest, we returned to Isabela. Time to keep training the new students of the school 💪.

We knew from the weather forecast that the conditions would be windy. But what we did not imagine is that it would be so strong 😑.

Despite this, several pilots and students from the school attended the activity. Each and every one of them practice the paraglider in hard wind condition.

Presents…

Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne
Edgardo Rivera and his wife Wilnelia
David Garber and his wife Amara
Jose “Cheo” Roman
Luis Ruiz
Jomar Crespo
Joaquin Alexander Cruz
Ken Arciola

We estimate the wind at 20 mph+ from very early in the morning. We had made a previous commitment to Diana Rodríguez, who traveled from Cidra, to Live her Paramotor Experience. After some evaluation of the weather, a rigorous instructions, and with the assistance of the rest of the pilots, David Garber managed to carry out Diana’s flight in safe conditions 💪.

Another pilot who made a flight in these conditions was Edgardo. Taking his BGD Luna2 23 meters paraglider to the limit. Thanks to his evolution as a pilot, everything went very well. On past occasion he would have had problems, but Edgardo has progressed a lot in his level and managed to dominate the weather conditions 💪 .

Among the students and pilots were Mario, Ken, Joaquín and Cheo. All of them were practicing hard in those conditions. Ken practiced in the morning and then in the afternoon, take an airplane in route to New York!.

Here we share some videos and photos taken from the activity. We ended the activity by mid day.
