Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – Last flights of the year in Isabela…
We took advantage of excellent flying conditions to create some truly great stories to close out 2025…

During the day, Edgardo and Darwin completed a “cross-country” flight, flying round-trip all the way to Arecibo. They stayed camped out at the site until welcoming in the New Year 2026, with a few additional sunset flights and more. Luis Ruiz also recorded a live video along the entire coastline, which we share below.
Tandem Introductory Flights to the Sport…
Luis Ruiz also received visits from friends who decided to experience flight on the very last day of the year. Visiting were César Avilés and Alberto Muñiz with his wife, Celi, accompanied by their family—and of course, we had to try flying. Below, we share a short video capturing their flight experiences. What a great way to end the year!!!
Thursday, January 1, 2026 – First flights of 2026…
Berto García was the first to take off in 2025. This time, Edgardo Rivera—who had camped overnight in Isabela—was ready to fly. However, Luis Ruiz took off just a few minutes earlier, being the first fly of 2026…. In the end, both flew together around the area. Also present were Javier Cordero, practicing alongside his brother, and Joan Rivera, pilot and student of Edgardo Rivera.
