With excellent weather conditions, we were back in Villa Pesquera, Isabela. This time, we took full advantage of the day to focus intensely on training student Feirment Reynalt, who spent the entire morning practicing ground handling with the paraglider. He is showing great progress in his training. Also the student Javier Cordero was present, although on this occasion he did not practice and instead came along to spend time and share the experience.
The former student and now Pilot Miguel Orona also arrived that day. On this occasion, he successfully completed his 50th flight of his young career in the sport. Congratulations!
Some tandem flights…
Later in the afternoon, Luis Ruiz was tasked with carrying out several demo flights. The wind had picked up in intensity, making conditions a bit more demanding than expected.
First, Luis flew with Jameson, who was visiting the island with their parents, Mateo and wife from Texas.
Later on, Luis flew with a local family from Isabela who had always watched us fly from the distance, and today was finally their moment. We first flew with Yandri, a 9-year-old boy, followed by Lynnette, and later Mayte. Their sister, Mariela, was in charge of capturing videos and photos, which we share below.
