Two days full of activity. This time, we were blessed with excellent weather, and both days were put to great use. Let’s break it down…
Friday, January 30, 2026 – Galilea’s Celebration and More…
This was a very special day for Galilea, who came to live her first flight experience as part of her birthday celebration. She had been following the sport for some time, and today was finally the day. The experience was very well planned. Her flight had originally been scheduled for the following week, but due to unstable weather conditions, we decided to secure it today instead. Here we share a video of her flight, which reached Jobos Beach and Foso de Jacinto.
Meanwhile, at the Isabela flying area, pilots Miguel Orona and Abdiel Galarza also arrived to fly. Miguel managed an excellent flight despite winds over 15 mph. Unfortunately, once again, Abdiel was left wanting more—yesterday there was too little wind, and today there was too much.
Two more people also arrived to enjoy their flight experiences. Bill, from Maryland (USA), a ultralight aircraft pilot, wanted to try paramotoring for the first time. Bryan, from Michigan, who arrived with his wife Wendy also flew, and both thoroughly enjoyed their experiences.
Saturday, January 31, 2026 – A Very Active Day in Isabela…
We started the morning with a flight over Middles Beach and Secret Spot in Isabela. The reason?… Héctor “Tito” Varela and the Surf Rider Foundation had been working there, protecting the coastline from high tides while strengthening the dunes in the area. Luis Ruiz took advantage of the opportunity to capture aerial footage of their work.
More Tandem Flights…
Once again, we made the most of Isabela’s excellent weather to continue creating stories. This time, Luis Ruiz conducted several introductory tandem flights. Bill, who had flown the day before, returned to the air, and Luis even handed him the controls mid-flight so he could experience piloting firsthand. Mike also enjoyed their flight experiences. He is a sailboat owner, and it was especially interesting to talk with him about wind experiences from a different perspective.
Pilots and Students…
After two days of attempts, Abdiel Galarza finally took off and flew along the entire coastline. Joining him were Miguel Orona and Sammy Badillo. Meanwhile, Noah Enrique practiced and flew from the dunes, and student Reynel pushed hard through his training, now with much more confidence and ready for bigger challenges.
By the afternoon, the wind began shifting inland and became turbulent, bringing the day’s activities to a close.
