Saturday, April 11, 2026 – Finally the Day Arrived… The FIRST Paramotor SOLO Fly of Noah Enrique…

A Father’s Thoughts…

The day had finally arrived—and what made it truly extraordinary was that, somehow, we always knew it would come. We had seen it on the horizon, prepared for it, and that only made it more powerful. This was the day my son, little Noah Enrique, would take to the skies for the first time in a paramotor.

This moment had been years in the making. Noah was raised in the world of paragliding and paramotoring. By the age of three, he was already trying to imitate his father. I count myself deeply blessed—his progress was nothing short of remarkable. From a very young age, he showed an incredible natural ability for the sport.

The entire family of pilots from Team Kamikazes witnessed his evolution. We watched him grow stronger, developing the physical and mental endurance to handle a paraglider—until he reached a level of control that surpassed not only every student in the school, but even many seasoned pilots. Just days earlier, he had completed his first SOLO flight—launching from a small sand dune without a motor and maintaining flight purely through skill and control. That is something only elite, experienced pilots can achieve with the right equipment… and Noah, at just 10 years old, was already doing it. (https://www.volarpr.com/2026/03/30/sunday-march-22-2026-noah-enrique-goes-unexpected-flying-being-the-youngest-to-do-it-in-puerto-rico/).

Step by step, I prepared him for his first paramotor flight, carefully observing as his strength grew enough to carry the motor on his back. Then one day, he said the words I had been waiting for:

Dad… this paramotor isn’t heavy. It feels light.”

At that moment, I knew—he had overcome the final limitation.

For this flight, I assembled the lightest and most reliable setup possible: a SkyMax Expedition cage paired with an EOS100 engine, totaling around 35 pounds. But preparation didn’t stop there—I personally flew the equipment twice with my 215 pounds of weight to ensure everything was flawless.

And now… today was the day.

Despite the immense pressure coming from many directions, we made the decision: green light. At just 10 years and 10 months old, Noah was ready.

His older brother, Ian Darrell—now 24, a professional and exceptional pilot—had lived a similar moment back on April 29, 2015, when he was just 13. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feptpGKF6t4). And today, Ian stood proudly in the front row, supporting his younger brother.

Villa Pesquera, Isabela — The Stage Is Set

With perfect flying conditions, Villa Pesquera in Isabela became the gathering point. Pilots from across the island showed up in force to witness this moment. And it wasn’t just about Noah—two other students would also attempt their first SOLO flights during the day.

Starting the morning, we feel from the beginning that this is going to be a UNIQUE Day…

The Morning…

As expected, the weather was flawless—ideal conditions for flying all day long. Pilots and families from every corner of the island came together. Among them was Pedro Agostini, who arrive flying from Hatillo to Isabela to be present in the event, also Julián García, who traveled from Arroyo just to share the skies with us. Danis Rodríguez made the journey from New York, and Edgardo Rivera arrived from Aguas Buenas alongside his students, Fernando and Aníbal. Many more were there—you’ll see them in the videos.

Reynel’s First SOLO Flight

Reynel Fermaint from Hatillo, had been ready for weeks, held back only by uncooperative weather. Finally, Reynel stepped forward with good weather. His launch was smooth, his landing precise—exactly as hoped. A lifelong dream realized in a single, soaring moment.

But the day was building toward something even bigger…

The Moment Arrives for Noah…

It was time.

Years of preparation had led here. I walked beside my son, giving final instructions. Ian stood ready, ensuring every connection and procedure was perfect. I took my position facing the launch zone, phone in hand, connected directly to Noah in a phone call through his helmet’s Bluetooth system.

Tension filled the air.

Then—he ran.

And just like that… Noah took off. SOLO !!!

Cheers erupted. Pilots celebrated. The sky itself seemed to roar in approval.

Edgardo made a LIVE Video covering ALL the procedure and Fly of Noah. God Bless!!!

At just 10 years and 10 months old, Noah became the youngest paramotor pilot in Puerto Rico—and likely one of the youngest in the world.

As a father, I can only say this: “I feel profoundly blessed. My deepest gratitude goes out to every friend and pilot who took the time to be there and share in this unforgettable moment“.

No Words… Just Happy and blessed for my Kid. Noah Enrique. God Bless You!!!

I also share the words from Pedro Gregory who is in the process to be a Pilot…

The Flight of Determination — When “Someday” Becomes “Today”

“What we witnessed with Noah was more than a takeoff—it was a masterclass in patience and purpose.
A 10-year-old rising into the sky alone, after dedicating his entire young life to preparation, left us all in silence.
The paramotor community paused—not out of fear, but out of respect.
What did Noah’s flight teach us?
Mastery has no age—only hours of dedication. Noah didn’t improvize. He trained until the paraglider became an extension of his body. Motivation without preparation is just excitement. But motivation with discipline? That becomes history.
There are moments when greatness silences everything around it. When someone breaks the mold, the standard rises for everyone.
And perhaps the greatest lesson of all: we often wait—for the “right time,” for the “perfect moment.” Noah reminded us that the perfect moment is when preparation meets courage.
Reflection
If a 10-year-old boy had the patience to wait, the discipline to train, and the courage to conquer the sky… what excuse do the rest of us have to stay grounded?
Thank you, Noah. Your flight today has become the engine that will lift many others tomorrow.”

More First SOLO Flights

The day didn’t end there. Fernando de Hostos, under the guidance of Luis Ruiz, also took to the skies SOLO for the first time. Alongside Aníbal, both had trained closely with Edgardo Rivera as their mentor, sharpening their skills through shared adventure and dedication.

In total—three new pilots were born in the day. Another student, César, had flown just days earlier. And many more are on their way.

The sky is calling… and they are answering.
