Students in Training…
The field stayed busy all day as the new students pushed hard through their training sessions, getting closer and closer to their very first solo flights. Miguel Orona became the first pilot to launch that morning, kicking off the flying action early, following by Nixon in a Epic Fly at Guajataca Tunnel and River that you must see…
Intro Tandem Flights and an Unexpected Landing at Secret Spot…
Luis Ruiz had several Intro Tandem Flights scheduled for the day. One of them was for Kate, celebrating her birthday after traveling from Humacao with her mother, and our friend Arlene Delgado, (who had already experienced the adventure before) to experience the thrill of paramotoring.
The flight was going perfectly — until suddenly and without warning, Luis’ paramotor engine shut down while they were flying over the Secret Spot beach area! No reason to panic. Luis calmly brought the paramotor down for a smooth landing alongside Kate.
We quickly contacted Mario back at the main flying area, and he came to the rescue while we all enjoyed the unexpected adventure and unique experience.
Once back at Villa Pesquera, they took to the skies again to properly complete the experience the best way possible.
Later in the day, Luis flew with Gina, a 76 years lady from Chicago, USA, she was accompanied by her local friend Elisabeth!!! He was beyond excited about his experience, and we’re sharing a video of his incredible achievement. Blessings!
Reynel Second Flight…
Student/Pilot Reynel Fermaint went up for his second flight ever — and we’re already discovering that he loves flying high! Here’s a video he shared with us from the adventure.
More Fun with High Winds and Kitting Challenges…
While Ricardo and Mario practiced and played with the paragliders on the field…
Pablo focused on help Shirley on her Training. She is pending in a close future to do her first Solo Flights. Stay Tuned…
