Wednesday, May 13, 2026 – An Epic Day in the Skies — A New Generation of Paramotor Pilots Takes Flight

Today was one of those unforgettable days that will forever remain part of our school’s flying history.

Not one, but two new students successfully completed their very first SOLO paramotor flights. Moments like these remind us why we dedicate ourselves to this incredible sport, and we thank God for allowing our paramotor family to continue growing stronger every year.

Over time, paramotoring in our island paradise has become recognized worldwide as a dream destination for lovers of aerial sports. Through our website and this blog — now among the most visited paramotor platforms internationally — we continue sharing the passion, adventure, and unforgettable stories that happen in our skies.

Starting the morning with excellent weather !!!

Recently, young Noah Enrique achieved his very first SOLO flight at only 10 years old, potentially becoming the youngest paramotor pilots in the world to accomplish this milestone. His achievement is currently pending Guinness World Records validation.

Two Students Fly SOLO for the First Time

Today marked the first SOLO paramotor flights for both Michael Acevedo and Abel Bonilla. Each journey has been unique, inspiring, and deserving of recognition.

Abel Bonilla — Determination Meets Opportunity

Abel arrived at our school less than a month ago, already bringing previous skydiving experience with him. From day one, his dedication stood out. He trained relentlessly throughout the week, constantly practicing and refining his skills. His attitude, discipline, and confidence showed us he was ready for bigger challenges.

With excellent weather conditions on our side, today became the perfect opportunity to attempt his first SOLO flight.

After a detailed briefing, Abel was equipped with a Parajet paramotor powered by a Vittorazi Moster 185 engine, paired with an APCO Thrust 33-meter wing, selected specifically to accommodate his 277-pound weight safely and efficiently.

What happened next was simply outstanding.

Abel executed both his takeoff and landing beautifully, demonstrating remarkable control and composure for a first-time SOLO pilot. Watching him lift into the sky was a proud and emotional moment for everyone present.

Michael Acevedo — Years of Preparation Lead to One Special Moment

Michael is the son of our good friend and fellow pilot Berto García, a member of Team Kamikazes and widely recognized as one of Puerto Rico’s most experienced paramotor pilots, with nearly 18 years of flying experience.

For years, Michael has trained alongside young Noah Enrique. We’ve witnessed their growth through countless photos and videos documenting their evolution as future pilots.

Today, the moment finally arrived.

Years of practice and preparation made Michael’s first SOLO flight look like the work of a seasoned pilot. His confidence, precision, and calmness in the air were truly impressive. Yet despite how natural it looked, this was officially his very first SOLO flight.

Without a doubt, this is only the beginning. Michael and Noah represent a new generation of pilots who will continue pushing the sport forward for years to come. May God bless them both as they continue chasing their dreams in the skies.

Luis Soto Continues Progressing

In addition to Abel and Michael, student pilot Luis Soto also took to the skies today.

For Luis, this marked his third flight, and little by little we continue giving him the freedom, experience, and confidence necessary to become the best pilot he can be.

Watching new pilots progress step by step is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

A Day Full of Gratifying Moments

Beyond the SOLO flights, today was filled with incredible flying activities, unforgettable moments, and meaningful progress for everyone involved.

Big Storm for the afternoon. But we made an EPIC Day nowadays…

Days like these remind us that paramotoring is much more than a sport — it is passion, discipline, friendship, family, and freedom all combined into one extraordinary experience. Blessings to everyone who shared this special day with us, and we look forward to many more adventures in the skies ahead.
