The journey continues as new pilots and students work toward joining the skies. This weekend brought another chapter of training, learning, and unforgettable flights, highlighted by an afternoon adventure to the beautiful Añasco Valley. Here’s how it all unfolded.
Thursday, May 14, 2026 – Isabela
The weekend’s activities began early as Luis Ruiz led another round of training sessions for the school’s newest students. Despite being a regular weekday, the turnout was impressive, showing the growing enthusiasm for the sport.
Joining the training day were:
- Nixon Porrata
- Scott Sansone
- Edwin Collazo
- Javier González
- Abel Bonilla
- Luis Soto
- Pedro Gregory
- Kevin Cajigas
- Shirley Hernández
- Luis Ruiz
Throughout the day, Nixon and Scott took to the skies together, exploring the area from above while the rest of the students focused on ground training and skill development. Every session brought them one step closer to earning their wings and joining the growing family of pilots in the air.
The excitement and determination on the field made it clear that new adventures were just around the corner.

Not every part of the adventure happens in the sky.
Friday was dedicated to equipment maintenance—the unseen work that takes place behind the scenes. Every engine checked, every line inspected, and every adjustment made contributes to the safety and success of future flights. It’s the quiet preparation that makes epic flying days possible.
Saturday, May 16, 2026 – Isabela and Añasco Valley
Saturday arrived with a full house once again. Pilots, students, friends, and family gathered at Villa Pesquera in Isabela, ready for another day of flying.
Among those present were:
- Luis Ruiz and his son, Noah Enrique
- Pablo Cruz and his wife, Millie
- Javier González and his wife, Mónica
- Juan Flores and his wife, Iris
- Abel Bonilla
- Abdiel Galarza
- Edgardo Rivera
- Alexander (Juncos)
- Miguel Carrasquillo
- Nixon Porrata
- Scott Sansone
- Shirley Hernández
- Pedro Gregory
- Reynel Fermaint
- Sammy Badillo
- Kevin Cajigas
The day was packed with activity. Pilots launched one after another, enjoying the skies as they pleased. However, as the hours passed, the winds steadily increased, creating more demanding conditions.
Several flights deserved special recognition. Abel completed only his second flight as a pilot. Reynel embarked on his third. Young Noah Enrique also took to the air for his third flight. Strong winds transformed what could have been routine flights into valuable lessons in skill, confidence, and decision-making. Each pilot rose to the challenge, gaining experience that can only be earned in real-world conditions.
An Afternoon Adventure in Añasco Valley
As conditions in Isabela became increasingly challenging, several pilots decided to head inland to the beautiful Añasco Valley to meet up with Berto García.
The change in scenery brought an entirely different challenge.
While the coast was battling strong winds, the valley offered calm air—so calm, in fact, that there was virtually no wind at all. What sounds easy to non-pilots can actually be one of the most demanding situations for paramotor pilots. Anyone wishing to fly would need to perform a true zero-wind launch, relying entirely on technique, timing, and confidence.
And, as always, those conditions produced stories that will be remembered for years to come.
Meanwhile, Berto took advantage of his trike setup to give Noah an unforgettable flight over the valley.
Later, student Miguel Carrasquillo also experienced the skies from the passenger seat, creating memories that undoubtedly fueled his passion for becoming a pilot himself. As the sun slowly dropped behind the mountains, the valley rewarded everyone with smooth air, spectacular scenery, and one of those flying afternoons that remind us exactly why we fell in love with this sport.
Sunday, May 17, 2026 – Back to Isabela
The weekend concluded back at Villa Pesquera in Isabela, where training continued despite another windy day.
Scott Sansone successfully took to the air alongside Luis Ruiz, while Shirley Hernández and Javier González focused on sharpening their skills through continued practice and training.
Every launch, every lesson, and every hour spent on the field brings these students closer to becoming confident pilots. Weekends like this are about far more than flying—they are about growth, friendship, perseverance, and the shared passion that unites everyone who dreams of exploring the world from above.
The adventure continues, and the next chapter is already waiting beyond the horizon.
