Scott managed to launch early and get airborne, although he later reported a challenging flight through several areas of turbulence. Meanwhile, the students had an excellent training session on the ground, especially when Nixon joined in and added his energy and experience to the practice.

The strong winds that had dominated the entire week continued. Gathering in Isabela were Shirley Hernández, Javier González, Kevin Cajigas, Berto García and his son Michael, Luis Ruiz and his son Noah Enrique, Abel Bonilla, and Nixon Porrata.

In addition to the students’ training activities, Luis Ruiz successfully completed two introductory tandem flights for Miguel Nieves and his wife Brenda. Despite the challenging conditions, both experienced the unforgettable thrill of paramotoring and enjoyed a unique aerial perspective of Puerto Rico’s beautiful coastline.

Even with Mother Nature testing our limits all week, the passion for flying remained stronger than the wind.
