Sunday arrived, and for Luis Ruiz it was a very active day since early in the morning. It turns out that Luis, as part of his commitments, had to go very early to the Valley of Lajas. Pilots José Sánchez SR waited for him there, and his son Joselito. In addition, the young Jean Carlos with his girlfriend Yaritzeli, who was ready to enjoy his VIP flight purchased through the Offer of our website, volarpr.com.

The weather was as expected. Very cold, with fog, and perfect to fly the Valley. The terrain, however, was humid, causing the boots and the paraglider to fill with some mud …

Luis this time, to make the flight, I use the Trike “El Llanuro” with Rotax 447 engine. Everything went perfectly and Luis went with Yaritzeli to fly over the fog banks that were in the Valley between Lajas and Guanica. From there they turned and flew all the way to the town of Boquerón in Cabo Rojo. The whole journey lasted more than an hour and the most important thing is that Yaritzeli was very happy with her flight experience.

After this, Luis returned to his hometown of Aguada where he gets the rest of the equipment and went to Villa Pesquera of Isabela. There, the Team Kamikazes was waiting for him,and some pilots were already flying by the time Luis arrived at around 10:30 AM.

Pilots Kamikazes and friends present in Isabela:

Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Gregory Santiago
Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique
David Silva
Eduardo Pabon
Dimas Ruiz
Ted Sowinski
Dannis Rodríguez and his brother Manuel

The morning was clear but somewhat windy. As the day progressed, the wind turned northward and in turn lost intensity. This was taken by the pilots Gregory, Eduardo and Ian to fly Cross to the Tunnel of Guajataca in Quebradillas and back to the beach of Jobos and Villa Montaña.

Noah on the other hand, played and practiced with his mini paraglider, and even at a given moment accompanied by his father Luis, he practiced with the new BGD Seed. Ricardo and David, although they could not fly, went to share with the group, having a nice time. Even it was Ermelinda’s turn to help Noah with his practices, 😊.

Dimas, despite having arrived early, preferred not to fly in winds of 14 mph+ or simply just arrived to have a good time with the Kamikazes Team. Ian, meanwhile, at one point, started practicing with the BGD Seed. Pablo, eventually, gave him some short flights by Towing method. This encourage Ian to gets on the paramotor and tested the paraglider in flight. We were very impressed with this new toy.

In other hand, Ted, continues to practice hard with the paraglider. We have pending the first attempt of “solo” flight  for the next days.

Late afternoon, Dannis arrived. He traveled this weekend from New York, and part of his stops was to share with the Team Kamikazes and take a flight in paramotor. After the practices and instructions of rigor. Dannis went flying around. He enjoyed it a lot and even flew to Jobos Beach before landing an hour later.

Finally, Eduardo, Grego and Ian took another Cross flight around. This time Gregory was doing some acrobatics that caused some people in the area to worry and eventually comes to our tent to meet him and ask him if it was all right 🙄.

Finally, another great weekend with the Team Kamikazes, and as always we thank God for these opportunities that allow us to live.💪
