A hot day but with excellent weather. For doing it differently, the route this time was went to La Guancha in Ponce. A place that we have flown before, but that after the earthquakes at beginning of year, we have not visited as we would like.
Edgardo Rivera and Luis Ruiz arrived at 2 PM. It feel so Hot, you had to take off at once and go flying to feel some breeze. But … at least for Edgardo, it was challenging. The wind ranged from 2 to 5 mph. Probably, he will need to launch by the Front Launch method. (Not mastering yet).
Luis Ruiz took off and fly around the must-see to the marine pier and the Ponce Hilton Hotel, But, Edgardo had problems to take off. So, Luis landed and was assisting Edgardo on his way out.
Edgardo worked hard and at his 3rd attempt, Perseverance pay off. Then, both flew around. First time for Edgardo to fly in Ponce, and he was happy with the experience.
By 4:30 PM they had both landed and were picking up their equipment. We’ll see work to return to Ponce in a close future…
