Finally, after several days of very active weather, we had a great day of flying. This was very well used in Villa Pesquera Isabela, where we were gathered from the early hours of the morning all the way until sunset.
There were many stories to tell, some of them unforgettable. Firstly, we must mention that we had a Full House of Pilots and friends of the Kamikazes family, who meet weekly whenever we have the opportunity.

The Windy Morning…
The weather forecast indicated that it would be a good day of flying, but by the time pilots Edgardo, Mario and Luis Ruiz arrived in the morning they encountered windy conditions. Despite this, the conditions were going to improve.
It was notable that despite the strong morning winds, Edgardo and Mario took to the skies in their ultra fast paragliders, and they did in winds at over 18 mph+.
The weather improving…
After a few hours, the weather conditions improved, as the forecast weather had indicated. In the same way the pilots became active and began to fly throughout the day!!! In addition to Edgardo and Mario, they were joined by Charles, Evan, Samuel, David Silva (who always goes flying for long periods of time), Jomar Crespo (on his return to the sport), Danis Rodríguez (who resides in NY, and this back in our activities on the island) and returning from visiting his family in Uruguay, we also had the pleasant surprise of Alberto Sabah.
The Grinch…
One of the attractions of the day, which was promoted on social networks, was the appearance of the “Grinch”. He was flying in his Paramotor and taking photos with the group and general public who assisted to the activity. This was well spread on social networks.
Training Session…
Today, Efrain Guzmán Sr. and his son Efrain Jr., natives of San Sebastián, officially began their training. Both were with Luis Ruiz in the morning receiving technical talks about the training process and flight theories, etc.. At some point of the morning, they took advantage of the excellent weather conditions to begin their first ground paragliding practices.
To our surprise, both, father and son, showed great skills and on their first day of practice. They were already beginning to master the paragliders control as if they had been practicing for days. Pablo Cruz, Fio López and Edgardo Rivera were assisting Luis in the student practices.
Along with the students, also were practicing the pilots, Fio López and Ricardo González. We were very happy to see him recovering from an injury. Also, Luis Ruiz made a Demo Flight to Lionel, who was visiting from Boston, and took the opportunity to live and enjoy a flight experience.
Pedro Agostini in Santa Isabel…
Pedro Agostini, this time could not share with us, but he managed to do some flights at the south of the island. Specifically at Santa Isabel, where he had a great time flying. Here is a short video of his view while flying.
The afternoon…
After a long day of flying, some pilots returned to their homes. But others understood that these perfect climates are not very frequent and continued flying all afternoon. Blessings!!!
