Bad weather projections for flying are approaching. As today is simply the day when we could fly before it gets real bad. So, a large group of pilots made time and arrived at Villa Pesquera Isabela to fly in ideal conditions.

The morning adventures…
The weather started out clear with predominantly light winds from the North. This is ideal for pilots who were gathering for the activity and have “normal” paragliders.
Tim Slauson was one of the first pilots to fly. He hadn’t been able to fly for months, and today was the day. He was flying for about an hour and was very happy with his achievement. He was accompanied in the air by Edgardo, Charles, Evan, Enrique, Darwin, Jomar, Luis and Berto García, who had not been able to attend our activities for months due to commitments abroad.
Edgardo, together with Luis Ruiz, had the task of carrying out the Demo Flight of Eric, who arrived with Tim, to Live his Experience. Edgardo made it, using his 40 meter BGD Dual. It was a challenging takeoff and both Edgardo and Eric ran well to make it look easy.
Luis Ruiz, for his part, once again made a low-altitude flight along the entire coast, taking spectacular images and videos.
The afternoon…
After the continuous flights of all the pilots in the morning, in the afternoon, some went up to the Top of the Cliff in the Farallon to practice Free Flight. They was taking advantage of the fact that Iván Torres was in the area ready to fly. Among those who climbed were Samuel, Danis, Edgardo, Darwin, Enrique and Berto. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and they couldn’t do much there, except for a 10 minute flight from Iván.
Luis Ruiz, for his part, stayed in the Villa Pesquera area, attending the pilot Fio López, who had arrived late due to work reasons. Luis helped him with the practices and eventual flight. Then Alberto Sabah arrived flying, after resolving morning commitments and eventually the pilots who had climbed the Cliff arrived again.
While Fio was flying, Luis Ruiz made a Demo Flight that had been pending last week, to the Cessna pilot, and new friend, Phil, who really enjoyed the Paramotor flight experience, very different of what he was using to see in his Cessna. After Phil’s Fly, a young man named Luis, who was accompanied by his uncle TinTin, would also make a flight together with Luis Ruiz.
Late afternoon…
Edgardo Rivera finished the day’s flight activities, already with his ultra-fast paraglider, Flow RPM 2 of 15 meters, taking advantage of the fact that the winds had already begun to increase in intensity.
It was an Epic day, ahead of adverse weather conditions to come. As always, we thank God for these opportunities that he allows us to live!!!
