In the past weeks, Gregory Santiago had spoken with Luis Ruiz about the possibility of holding a Team Kamikazes meeting where they could discuss security issues. Many of the pilots and students had expressed their interest in attending to have a better idea of how to react to different situations that could arise in the practice of the sport.

Given this panorama, Luis thanked Gregory for his help, and the activity began to be coordinated. The result of this was carried out throughout the day today at the home of the pilot Chelo Meléndez, in Guaynabo. Who kindly offered us a great space to give the seminar and in turn prepare meals and hors d’oeuvres for a great sharing after the seminar ended. Chelo, thank you very much, we are very grateful for your kindness.

The security seminar lasted from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. Gregory Santiago, came very prepared to the seminar, with organization of topics and that they were of the understanding and pleasure of those present. It covered various topics, such as the aspects and details of the Paragliding, the Paramotor, maintenance, situations in flight, takeoffs, landings, weather, and safety. In addition, the doubts that appeared in each topic were covered. The contribution of other pilots such as Juan Carlos Correa and Robert Rodríguez in their stories of how they had solved some of the problems mentioned in the seminar was notable. In general, all those present were very attentive and clarifying doubts about what was discussed at the seminar.

Grego, we thank you for such an excellent job. Here we leave some photos and videos of the activity. As always we thank God for these opportunities that allow us to live …
