Today marks the day that Instructor Luis Ruiz will reach the amount of 2,000 !!! people who have received a Tandem Demo Flight from him, in fact he ended the day with 2,001. At the moment, had NOT appear a Paramotor Pilot that could have a close number of passenger of what Luis have in his Records!!!, not in the USA, or in the world (We are consulting in different Paramotor Forums worldwide). So, Luis is breaking the Record anytime he made a new Tandem Demo Fly 💪🙏…
The person who made his Demo Flight with Luis, for # 2,000, was Bruny Torres, a native of Aibonito, who not only traveled from Aibonito to enjoy his experience, but also had to wait patiently all morning until there were conditions of acceptable weather for her flight … But we are going to comment on other things that happened during the morning and we return with this note further down in the story …

Today the day was ideal for flying. Gentle winds dominated the entire north coast. The first of the experienced pilots to fly was Alberto. Later he was accompanied by David, Omar and Gabriel who went flying in “cross” all the way to the town of Hatillo, Back and Forth. Also Ted, flew for several hours, being accompanied at the time by Hermes and Noel, who had not been able to fly for weeks. All showing great professionalism in the practice of the sport.

For his part, Eric Roman continued his inflation practices. At one point he tried to launch, but the intensity of the winds was very light and he decided to postpone the flight waiting for better conditions. Ricardo and Gregoire were practicing too…
So, going back to Luis, this time his son Ian Darrell, who assist him with the Tandem Flights, could not attend due to previous commitments contracted outside the flight area (And David Garber does not return until November …). So, it was Luis’s turn to perform all the Demo flights that were outstanding in the day. The low intensity winds did not help and especially because some of the people were in weights greater than 190 pounds 🤨…
In the end, Luis complied with Ruth “Beba” Medina, her two daughters and Jonathan Colon, natives of Utuado. Then to José Lojos, and from Aibonito Thaliana and Bruny, to finish in the afternoon with Mireya, who was accompanied by her husband Edward and are from Fajardo.

Once the activities were finished at around 3 PM, we moved to Alberto Sabah’s house, in Isabela. There we celebrated the surprise birthday of Hermes and Mercedes. They were caught in real surprise… Many of the pilots who were flying, came to share with us.
