This weekend’s flight route took us to Parque del Norte Hatillo. The weather forecasts indicated that it would get windy all weekend, so we had to take advantage of the morning to make the flights and practice with new students.
Saying present at the activity were the pilots “Kamikazes” and their families…
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell
Edgardo Rivera and his wife Wilnelia
Danis Rodriguez
Robert Rodriguez
Darwin Hernandez
Miguel “Guelo” Colon
Kevin Castro (rejoining activities)
We had the visit from early hours of new friends from the area of Ponce, Santa Isabel and Coamo, (Margarita García, Carlos López, Ryan Negron, Natalia Negron and Miguel Torres) who came to take their Demo Flights as part of the introduction of the sport.

Instructor Luis Ruiz, assisted by his son Ian, had to hurry, because even though the flight conditions were good in the morning …, with every minute that passed they were deteriorating. In the end, all the flights were made and everyone was very happy with their experiences. Carlos López was very interested in taking the Paramotor course. We will inform you if it does indeed do so 💪.
The flight of Aracelis Cabrera, who traveled all the way from Toa Baja, was also carried out, this before we closed these activities due to the weather.
As for the students of the school. There we had Edgardo Rivera on his second day of training. It turned out that this time, unlike his first day of practice, there was wind, and a lot! Luis gave him the training glider, BGD Seed, and he was practicing it for several hours. At the end of the day, Edgardo’s progress was very evident, we have no doubt that we will soon start thinking about his first “Solo” flight 💪…
They also practiced with Edgardo, the student / pilot Darwin Hernández and Ricardo González. Both had come up with the idea of flying, but due to the windy conditions, they dedicated themselves to practicing and honing their skills.
Another who is returning to the sport is Kevin Castro. He is the son of the former Team pilot, Chino Castro, who has been living in the USA for a few years. Kevin practiced with us when he was very young, and now as an adult, he is on the way to returning to the sport and surely, from what we saw, he is very close to his first “solo” flight 💪.
In the afternoon the wind rose to about 20 mph+. The pilots Luis Ruiz, his son Ian Darrell and Danis Rodríguez, went flying with the correct equipment for this windy weather and had a great time demonstrating their skills.

As always we thank God for these opportunities that allows us to live 🙏…
