Parque del Norte Hatillo, and good weather, the perfect formula for a great day of flights and healthy sharing.

The Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico, was teaching new school students from early on and meeting new friends who seek to learn more about the sport through Demo flights. When we started to arrive, the first person we saw in Parque del Norte was the Mayor of Hatillo, Hon. Chely Rodríguez, who always turns around early to see that everything in the Park is in order!💪

Kamikazes family present at the activity …

Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Edgardo Rivera and his wife Wilnelia
Brothers Samuel and Adam Travis
Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique
Sammy Badillo
Guelo Colon

The morning began with the brothers Samuel and Adam flying “cross” all the way to the Colon Statue in Arecibo. That early morning flight is tricky as the wind direction is not ideal for a pleasant flight and parts of the route are in turbulent areas. Both Samuel and Adam continue to show great mastery in their flights. And new plans for them coming soon…

Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell, for their part, had their hands full before a large audience that attended to learn more about the sport through Demo flights.

We can mention among the people who made their Demo flights, Jorge Iván and Valeria from Tripsst Puerto Rico doing a Promotion for our sport (more details soon 🙂), Carmen García and her companion from Toa Baja, Alberto, Leslie and Joshua from Humacao, Paola and Nadishka from Dorado, Félix from Caguas and Zuleyma from Humacao, Kyara from Levittown, Ivy from Caguas, Joseph Bonet and Evelyn from Guaynabo, José Valdez and Diosdany from Camuy, and Laiza and Raquel from Camuy.

All of them lived their experiences in the Paramotor and we have prepared a small video with everything that happened with each one of them. Raquel, and Jackie Garcia, couldn’t enjoy the fly when the weather deteriorated in the afternoon. And we will look for a new date for them. Inclusive in the case of Jackie García, she even came with a shirt with a paragliding design, prepared for the occasion 💪!!!

As for the students, Ricardo was practicing hard with his paraglider. He is doing very well in inflation control on ground. However, when he put the Paramotor behind his back, he needs to make some corrections that we are working on.

Edgardo, for his part, was using his new acquisition Paramotor for the first time, and continued to use Luis’s sports paraglider, a BGD Luna 2. And not only did he fly without major problems. He also followed Sammy Badillo on a “cross” flight that took them. to the border with Arecibo some miles away.

In the afternoon, a big clouds arrived changing the direction of the winds. That has been the daily story of this entire month of June. Tomorrow Sunday we will return to the action, the roads lead to Villa Pesquera Isabela. Always counting on the favor of God 🙏.
