Excellent weather to fly all day, even with a light wind that made it difficult to take off …, Full House of Team Kamikazes pilots, family and friends. The perfect formula to have an Epic flight day. Let’s go by part.

First of all, we indicate who were present at the activity …

Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Edgardo Rivera and his wife Wilnelia
Alberto Sabah, his wife Mercedes and daughter
Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell (accompanied by Paola) and Noah Enrique
José Luis Hernández and his wife Francheska
Noel Vale and his wife Tata
Hermes Ferrer, his wife Neisha and daughter Katelyn
Ray Malave and his wife Marilyn (New student)
Charles Riggs, his son Evan and family
José “Cheo” Román
Omar Colon
Darwin Hernandez
Sammy Badillo

Along with those present, Loren Montanez from San Juan also arrived, she was accompanied by her son Samuel and her partner Luis. Also, from New York, came Sari Rosario, her son Paolo, Awilda and her son Luis. And also Kevin Colon arrived who arrived at his wife Lis. These are natives of Arecibo but reside in Florida, USA. Everyone came to enjoy their flying experience in the Paramotor.

Luis and Ian spent a large part of the morning coordinating and carrying out these flights, since the low intensity wind, the difficulties of being able to take off increased. And there were even some attempts that had to be aborted 😑. Was a good exercise, both for Ian and Luis… Finally, each and every one of those who were waiting to fly, managed to do it and were very happy with their experiences. And with the intention of repeating in the near future. And that’s what it’s all about 💪.

As for the students of Team. There they were giving hard to the practices, Mario, José Luis, Cheo Román and Ray Malave beginning their training. Luis Ruiz, assisted by Pablo, were in charge of the practices and Luis took some time to chat about the technical and learning aspects of the sport.

In the case of Mario and José Luis, both are ready for greater challenges as they are dominating the control of the paraglider at will. We will coordinate one day of the week to attend them individually. In the case of Cheo Román, this is a veteran Team pilot, who is returning to the sport after some years of inactivity. Congratulations! We will surely have him in the air again soon 💪. He was practicing again with a paraglider.

In Ray‘s case, he was taking the theoretical part of everything that involves sports. And once the theoretical part was taken, he went with Luis to the practice area to carry out his first inflation practices with the paraglider. Although the wind was not good for the practice, we were able to observe Ray’s ability which was very good for the sport. So we do not doubt that we will have him in the air soon with the rest of the Team pilots 💪 .

As for the Team pilots, and their challenges to take off in low wind, Sammy, Alberto, Pablo, Edgardo, Ian, Noel and Omar were flying there early. All leaving without major problems and even in a “cross” flight to the Guajataca coast in Quebradillas.

Later in the afternoon they were joined on the flights by Darwin, Charles Riggs and his son Evan. In Darwin’s case, he arrived from a flight from Washington at noon, and by 2:30 PM he arrived to Isabela with his flight gears. In his rush to get there, it seemed that some pieces had been left in his house, but luckily, it was there and he could try to fly.

The only drawback is that at 3 PM a huge cloud changed the direction of the winds, now coming from the South. Fortunately at low intensity level. Darwin decided to wait a bit as the cloud dissipated. Eventually he decided to fly at 4:30 PM and took off without major problems and goes flying inland, in the direction of Isabela Mall. While this was happening, Charles and Evan arrived to fly. Now the winds were completely calm again, and both took off showing great skills. They kept flying until sunset 💪 .

It is also well worth noting that little Noah once again found a new friend, this time named Alejandro, to whom he was giving classes to control the little paraglider. This before the looks of Alejandro’s family at the place.

We were in Villa Pesquera until nightfall. Planning new activities, and sharing and enjoying as a family. We worked on New plans for next weekend in addition to waiting for the last pilots in the air to finish flying.

As always we thank God for all these opportunities that he allows us to live 🙏.
