The morning…
Once we arrived in the morning we realized that the weather conditions had changed. This time there was wind and it was not a major problem for the skilled pilots, but it was for the novice pilots.
Mario and Ivonne, along with Luis Ruiz and Ian were the first to arrive. Mario was going to enjoy his ultra fast 18 meter BGD Luna 2 paraglider, which is ideal for these types of conditions. Ian, for his part, had the task of flying with Yamuel Cordero all the way to Guajataca in Quebradillas. This was challenging due to the wind, but it was finally done. Also, We had a visit from the potential student of the Team, Gilberto Rodríguez from Caguas, who is riding a motorcycle around the island.
Then the rest of the pilots and friends arrived during the morning.
The rest of the day…
The wind remained strong but constant all day, at about 15 to 18 mph. Luis Ruiz made the Demo Flights of Elisabeth from Pennsylvania and Alberto from Bayamon.
In the meantime, Edgardo Rivera was assisting Luis in the Demo Flights. He made the introductory flights to the school’s students, Efrain Guzmán Jr., Edison Negrón and Brenda López. All of them having a very good experience on their flights with Edgardo. In fact, Edison and Brenda were practicing all day very hard their ground control with the Paragliders.
Among the pilots, Mario, Wilkins, Charles, Evan, Edgardo and Pablo were flying around comfortably. And little Noah was not left behind, he convinced Pablo Cruz to bring him a Towing Fly. So, he could say that he flew along with the rest of the pilots.
Pedro Agostini this time feels sick and didn’t flew, but, as tradition, brought food and refreshments to those present. Thank you Pedro!!!
