Sunday, March 24, 2024 – From HIGH winds yesterday, to NO Wind Today, Isabela…

Unlike yesterday, there was no wind today. Very different weather conditions, and today’s little wind also brought heat. This in the morning hours was a fundamental factor in the practices.

Two new students…

As we mentioned previously, there was no wind, and it was very hot. Luis Ruiz was officially starting the course of Wilkins “Chino” Morales, and in turn Manolo Emanuelli arrived to continue his course, which he had started a few months ago and for work reasons had not finished it the previous time.

Once Luis Ruiz covered a theoretical part with the students, they went to the paragliding practice area. Both Manolo and Chino began their first inflation practices in little wind. This time Efrain and Orlando decided not to practice, and in Efrain‘s case specifically, he had been practicing hard yesterday and wanted to take it easy today.

Manolo Emanuelli, first Time… a lot of work to do, but Stay Tuned with progress in following weeks…

Nancy Rivera came to fly on her birthday…

Nancy Rivera had come to live her flight experience on her birthday. She arrived accompanied by her husband Freddy and her best-friend Rebeca. The weather for flying was very good, but the challenge was the takeoff. We would have to run a lot and in the direction of the sea, and the success depends on how much Nancy could run, at the time Luis applied power to the Paramotor.

After two failed attempts, they managed to get out at the 3rd opportunity in a takeoff that gave no margin for error. Nancy ran as best she could and Luis applied all the power to the Paramotor, which just managed to get them flying at an inch (literally) above the water level. Risks? Of course… but the water level was shallow, and in the third attempt, and the prevailing heat, both tried their best to Take Off.

A very challenge Take Off. Nancy and Luis put ALL the effort in the run !!!

Once in the air, everything went just as planned. For Nancy it was one more goal accomplished and she was enjoying it to the fullest. As always, we thank God for allowing us to live these experiences with new friends.

The Kamikaze pilots and a cooler afternoon…

It was nice to see Wilkins Torres manage to get out in little wind with a frontal takeoff. He did so well, that anyone would think he was an expert in that type of Take Off. Beside, Sammy and Luis were flying as they pleased. They were flying together the entire coast at low altitude until arrive to Jobos Beach. On this tour Luis Ruiz took some very good photos of different parts of the coast that we share here…

In a previous Fly, Mario believed he was recording Luis, but instead recorded himself, jaja

Pedro and Edgardo in Humacao…

Pedro Agostini and Edgardo Rivera were flying today at Punta Santiago Humacao. Here are some videos shared by Pedro while he was flying through these area…
