The last week of the month of May, and very active for our community of pilots and also for training new students. And this includes Mr. Victor Zamparelli, who traveled from Miami, Florida, USA, to take an intensive course with the Team Kamikazes school.
But there is a lot to tell in each of the days and we go in part…
Monday, May 27, 2024…
Very active day in Villa Pesquera Isabela where we officially began the training of the new student, Víctor Zamparelli. We were working hard until 1 PM, when the rain arrives, ending the activity. Present with Luis Ruiz was his son Ian Darrell, who was assisting Luis with training.
Tuesday, May 28, 2024…
We continue with the Training of Victor Zamparelli at Isabela. The reverse kiting method takes some energy from Victor. His previous Kite Surfing knowledge are confusing him a bit. But progress is perceiving nonetheless. This time Luis Ruiz also took Victor for an introductory Tandem as part of the Training. Victor took the controls for some time in the air.
The pilot Jomar Crespo joined the adventures of the day, and goes flying along the coast, Luis Ruiz accompanied him for a while but the weather was getting bad in the afternoon. So, the fly didn’t last long.

Bad weather for the day, and we postpone the activities for tomorrow…

Excellent weather for flying and training from 9 AM to 1:30 PM, after that the rain appear again. This time, Luis Ruiz and Victor Zamparelli were joined by the pilots Alberto Sabah, Darwin Hernandez, his friend John Herman, and arriving from Texas, the friend/student/pilot, Gilbert Avila.
Friday, May 31, 2024…
We had a Full House of students of the school. Luis Ruiz this time was with his son Noah Enrique and students Victor Zamparelli, Efrain Guzman and his son Enrique, Gilbert Avila, Jose “Ronnie” Melendez. Also the pilots Alberto Sabah and Sammy Badillo were flying today with us.
Was notable that student “Ronnie” Melendez is showing great progress and for sure, we will have him soon in the air. In the case of Efrain and Enrique, they arrived late in the day, and by that time, the weather was not good for flying novice pilots.
This time Gilbert Avila handle to goes flying again, after some long years. After that we need to resume our activities due to bad weather.
